FX3G · FX3U · FX3GC · FX3UC programmable controller can servo electric machinery 、 Stepper motor And so on to output pulse signals for positioning control. When the pulse frequency is high, the motor rotates fast; When there are more pulses, the motor rotates more.
use Pulse frequency , pulse number to set the moving speed or amount of the positioning object (workpiece).
1. Basic unit（ Transistor output )
The FX3G · FX3U · FX3GC · FX3UC programmable controller has built-in positioning function.
Output 100 kHz maximum from general output (Y000 ～ Y002) collector The open circuit pulse train can simultaneously control the 3-axis * 1 servo motor or stepping motor.
2. Special adapter
The special adapter uses the built-in positioning function of FX3U programmable controller to output a pulse train of differential linear drive mode with a maximum of 200kHz, and can control 4-axis servo motor or stepper motor at the same time.
FX3U programmable controller can connect up to 2 high-speed output special adapters (FX3U-2HSY-ADP).
• The first FX3U-2HSY-ADP uses Y000, Y004, Y001 and Y005.
• The second FX3U-2HSY-ADP uses Y002, Y006, Y003 and Y007.
3. Special function module/unit
FX3U · FX3UC programmable controller can connect special function modules/units for positioning control.
In addition, the special function unit can also conduct positioning control independently.
1). Composition of FX3U programmable controller
Up to 8 special function modules/units can be connected in FX3U programmable controller.
2). Composition of FX3UC programmable controller
Up to 8 * 1 special function modules/units can be connected in FX3UC programmable controller.
When connecting special function modules/units, FX2NC-CNV-IF or FX3UC-1PS-5V must be required.
*1. When connecting with FX3UC-32MT-LT (- 2), a maximum of 7 sets can be connected.

3). Independent operation (FX2N-10GM, FX2N-20GM)
Special function units (FX2N-10GM, FX2N-20GM) can operate independently without being connected to the programmable controller.
• FX2N-10GM can control 1-axis servo motor or stepping motor.
• FX2N-20GM can control 2-axis servo motor or stepping motor. In addition, I/O can be expanded (up to 48 points).
