| The sales volume of automobiles in Beijing keeps climbing, and new energy vehicles continue to lead the way |

A first snow ushered in the cold winter of Beijing. At this time, BAIC Motor Corporation Limited (BAIC Motor Corporation Limited, stock code: 01958. HK) released the sales data of October, like a proud snow plum blooming in the sky. From January to October, BAIC Motor's sales rose month by month against the trend. The total sales of joint ventures and self owned brands reached 1.26 million units, making it one of the five passenger vehicle enterprises in China with sales reaching one million units.
In October, the total sales of BAIC reached 154884, up 12.80% year on year. Both joint ventures and self owned brands have performed well. Beijing Hyundai and Beijing Benz sold 100069 and 21054 vehicles respectively. 33761 vehicles were sold by Beijing's own brands.
The impressive sales data of BAIC Motor's independent brand mainly comes from the increasing sales of independent SUVs and MPVs. In October, 4377 autonomous SUVs were sold. From January to October, 21530 vehicles were sold, up 229.00% year on year. 16206 MPV models were sold, with a cumulative sales of 101002 from January to October, up 73.61% year on year. Based on the sales data released in the third quarter, the growth momentum is strong. BAIC Motor Corporation Limited has rapidly started the SUV field while improving the layout of sedan products. The BAIC Sambo X65 launched in the first half of this year has excellent market performance. The two SUVs that will be launched in the year are bound to disrupt the original market situation with the goal of seizing the SUV segment of its own brand. BAIC Motor's pursuit of high quality products and perfect product layout have been fully reflected in the market sales.
2584 new energy vehicles were sold in October, up 11.43% month on month. The cumulative sales of 13835 vehicles increased by 776.74% year on year. Continuous growth will be the best guarantee for BAIC BJEV to launch an impact on the sales target.
The sales volume of Beijing Benz maintained the strong growth momentum in the first three quarters, with 21054 units sold in October. From January to October, 115973 vehicles were sold, up 69.30% year on year. The excellent performance is mainly due to the popularity of Mercedes Benz C-Class since its launch and the fact that CLA has filled the gap of compact SUV products. With the current market foundation and the continuous introduction of new models, it is expected to continue to maintain excellent sales performance in the future.
In the first three quarters, Beijing Hyundai was affected by the environmental factors of weak market and falling stock market, which led to a slight decline in sales. However, according to the sales data in October, Beijing Hyundai sold 100069 vehicles in October, up 8.24% year on year, with obvious signs of rebound. This phenomenon shows that Beijing Hyundai has now stepped out of the adverse market environment. In the future, it is believed that Beijing Hyundai will continue to exert its strength in the joint venture market.
BAIC Motor Corporation Limited has sounded the clarion call of the fourth quarter rush sales, and the three main businesses have outstanding performance. At the end of the "12th Five Year Plan", the product layout has been fully completed, and the annual sales volume is worth looking forward to.
