Recently, the author went to Lianjiang County with the Research Institute of Rural Construction, Rural Innovation and Development on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to investigate the national level coastal tourist resort around Mazu'ao under construction, and was quite impressed by the local practice of setting off small scenic spots with large scenic spots.

The culture and tourism economy is the comparative advantage of Fujian's development. Promoting the integration and development of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits is Fujian's glorious mission. Lianjiang is adjacent to Mazu. In recent years, with the construction of the coastal tourist resort around Mazu Ao as the carrier, the county has planned to develop 39 resource points (including 21 natural resources, 7 cultural resources, and 11 rural resources) along the 45km coastline around Mazu Ao with excellent mountain and sea landscape resources and rich and diverse sea erosion landforms, not only gathering "mountains, seas, springs, rivers, islands, and bays" The painted scroll corridor, which integrates the scenic spots of Mazu into the boutique tourism route of "Around Mazu Macao", promotes the integration of cultural tourism economy and Malaysia, which is worth praising.

It is understood that Lianjiang County seized the opportunity of speeding up the construction of the demonstration area of cross-strait integration development in our province, took advantage of the momentum, and actively acted. After the coastal tourist resort around Mazu'ao passed the provincial acceptance at the end of 2022, it continued to work with the goal of creating a national level. Striving for innovation is not just for honor, but for making real efforts to create new scenes of culture and tourism and new highlights of cross Strait integration and development.

Xiang Jian Xiang Chuang is a characteristic brand of Taiwan related work in our province. In the past 10 years, from the initial pilot in four administrative villages, it has been promoted in more than 400 administrative villages across the province, covering 87% of the counties (cities, districts). Lianjiang County has also achieved great success in building a township. In Tongxin Village, Ankai Township, the first abalone brand IP "I want abalone" was created through the Taiwan team, and the personified images of "Bao Shuai" and "Bao Mei" were launched, successfully making Lianjiang abalone "the first online popular village" out of the circle.
