Zheng Nanfeng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Kageng Innovation Laboratory, Qin Hongmei, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of Xiamen University, Lai Riquan, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Xiamen University and assistant director of the Kageng Innovation Laboratory, received the research group and introduced the basic situation and important scientific research achievements of the Kageng Innovation Laboratory. The research team visited the exhibition hall of scientific and technological achievements, micro nano processing platform, Asia's first noise free precision processing and characterization laboratory, new display visual perception laboratory, proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolytic water hydrogen production system, etc., to understand the new trends in the development of related technology fields and the laboratory's scientific research priorities, scientific research progress and scientific research level.
After the visit, the research group held a symposium in the Kageng Innovation Laboratory, presided over by Sun Xiaodong. Liu Fan, the executive deputy director of Xiang'an Innovation Laboratory, and Guo Qixun, the assistant director of Jiageng Innovation Laboratory, respectively introduced the origin of the two laboratories, industrial development, R&D innovation, talent gathering, system and mechanism, as well as the latest scientific research achievements in biomedicine, hydrogen energy, lithium ion battery, photovoltaic, semiconductor and future display.
