These bamboo shoot products are made by an enterprise specializing in the production and operation of boiled bamboo shoots, quick-frozen bamboo shoots, vacuum packaging and other series of deep-processing products in Shaxian District, Sanming City, Fujian Province. There are more than 40 kinds of bamboo shoot products. At present, the export rate of the company's products has reached more than 96%, accounting for 26% of the Japanese bamboo shoot market.
Asking for food from bamboo forest, bamboo shoot making enterprises become large foreign exchange earners
Sanming is located in the north central part of Fujian, with a forest coverage rate of 77.12%, and is known as the "Green Capital of China". For a long time, Sanming has insisted on asking for food from the forest, vigorously developed the economic industry under the forest, and coordinated the development of green economic formats such as planting under the forest, breeding under the forest, and collecting and processing of forest products.
By the end of 2023, Sanming has 488000 mu of understory planting and operation area, with an output value of 2.307 billion yuan (RMB, the same below); The management area of under forest aquaculture is 490200 mu, with an output value of 1.942 billion yuan; Under forest collection and processing covers an area of 277100 mu, with an output value of 11.609 billion yuan. The city now has 5 national level demonstration bases for undergrowth economy, 9 provincial key counties for undergrowth economy, and 8 provincial key towns for undergrowth economy.
It is understood that Sanming is the hometown of bamboo shoots and bamboo, rich in bamboo resources. The locally grown bamboo shoots are not only of high quality, but also relatively cheap.
With the R&D investment in the quick freezing and cold storage technology of bamboo shoots and the production and management technology of organic bamboo shoots, the sales volume of this bamboo shoots manufacturing enterprise has been rising all the way. The output in the first four months of this year has increased by 35% year-on-year, and the output value has reached 58 million yuan, becoming a major foreign exchange earner in the processing and export of China's boiled bamboo shoots industry.
Develop understory planting to help Shaxian snacks go out of the mountain
Shaxian County is famous for its snacks. There are more than 240 kinds of "national snacks". Among them, herbal pot stewing, together with steamed dumplings, noodles and flat meat, is called the "Four King Kong" of Shaxian snacks, while Chuanshan Dragon, Milk Root, Huanghua Daoshui Lotus, Huangjing, etc. are indispensable raw materials for the pot stewing of core categories of Shaxian snacks.
As a manager of Shaxian Jiayuan Oil Tea Professional Cooperative, Cao Yangqu sees an increasing demand for stew cans from Shaxian snack customers. Last year, he began to interplant more than 100 mu of milk roots under his own oil tea forest, and now his income is more than 400000 yuan. He said that the interplanting mode of his own Camellia oleifera forest has low use fees for forest land planted under the forest, which is suitable for high-density planting, and can effectively save planting costs. At the same time, it can improve the soil, which is conducive to forest growth, reduce cultivation costs, and promote ecological and economic benefits to achieve a win-win situation.
According to Le Daiming, Deputy Director of the Forestry Bureau of Shaxian District, the current planting scale of Shaxian County is about 30000 mu. The main crops are milkvetch, polygonatum, pangolin, Dendrobium officinale, and one branch flower with seven leaves. Most of them are used as raw materials for snacks in Shaxian County, with an output value of about 500 million yuan.
In recent years, taking the opportunity of the construction of a comprehensive pilot city for national forestry reform and development, Sanming has given full play to its resource advantages. By innovating and promoting the "company+base+farmers" model, it has focused on forest medicine, forest fungus and Shaxian snack ingredients to develop the under forest economy, carried out the selection of Sanming genuine medicinal materials "Ming Ba Wei", strengthened cooperation with leading pharmaceutical enterprises such as China Resources Sanjiu, and formed Qingliu Gangmei The demonstration bases such as Yong'an Anoectochilus roxburghii, Taining Dendrobium officinale, Youxi Poria cocos, etc. have driven nearly 280000 farmers to participate in the operation, and will achieve an economic output value of 17.9 billion yuan under the forest in 2023.
Beauty tea fragrance, tea farmers become rich farmers
There are countless famous teas in Fujian, but beauty tea is only in the mountains. In Datian County, Sanming City, the mountain ranges are green, the clouds are wreathed, and the springs are gurgling. Datian Beauty Tea is mainly produced on the Daxian Peak, which is more than 1500 meters above sea level.
Datian Meiren Tea originates from Taiwan and comes down in one continuous line with Taiwan Oriental Meiren Tea. "In the early years, after visiting many places in the mainland, my father was finally attracted by the unique natural conditions and investment promotion policies here." Peng Anyuan, a post-90s Taiwanese youth, planted more than 600 mu of tea in the field.
In 1999, Peng Baofa, the father of Peng Anyuan, came to Datian to invest and set up a factory, introduced the excellent varieties of Taiwan tea such as Softwood Oolong, Jinxuan, and the tea making technology of Taiwan Oriental Beauty tea, and founded the first Taiwan funded tea enterprise in Datian. Since then, Taiwan Oriental Beauty Tea has taken root in the field.
Driven by a number of Taiwanese businessmen, local tea farmers have joined in, and continue to carry forward the production process of beauty tea. In just a few years, Datian County has become the largest production base of beauty tea on the mainland, and has won the titles of "Hometown of Chinese High Mountain Tea" and "Hometown of Chinese Beauty Tea"; A small piece of beauty tea has also become the "golden leaf" for local people to increase their income and become rich.
