Professor Wang Chao said that charity should not only be a means of family inheritance, but also its purpose, and both should promote each other. "Love is instinct, love is ability, inheritance is instinct, and inheritance is technology. Inheritance should not be limited to the material level, but should include the transmission of symbols and the spiritual world," said President Guangpu.
"Whether it is good or home, it is particularly valuable to society." Feng Ping, professor of philosophy department of Fudan University, believes that with the rapid transformation from agricultural civilization to modern civilization, we are facing the challenge of redefining and inheriting "good". As the key unit in the intersection of tradition and modernity, we cannot simply rebuild the family concept of modern society on the basis of the old tradition, but need to re nurture and build on the soil of modern civilization.
Huang Jiandong, founder of OD together and long-term external organization and talent development consultant of Alibaba Group, said that the key to family sustainability is warm interpersonal interaction, that is, children can communicate with people in a friendly and humanistic way. Such interaction marks the sustainable development of families.
Chen Youwei, the son of Chen Jingrun and chairman of the Chen Jingrun Science Foundation, shared his views on inheritance and his mental journey. At first, the expectation of "inheriting his father's work" made him feel pressure in the field of mathematics, but his father and senior scientists' enthusiasm for exploration and perseverance has always influenced him.
