The system of responsible planners is an important institutional arrangement to improve the management level of urban planning and construction, a reform action with long-term significance and practical value in the land and space planning system, and plays an important role in opening up the "last mile" of planning. The issuance of the Management Measures has made Xiamen the first city in Fujian Province to achieve full coverage of responsible planners.
It is reported that Xiamen Municipal Resources Planning Bureau plans to hire 29 special responsibility planners in the first phase to ensure that the land and space special plans that have been compiled and are being compiled are equipped with a special responsibility planner for tracking services. As a participant, planner and coordinator of special planning, special responsibility planners will solve problems such as inadequate coordination of special planning, insufficient dynamic tracking of policies and standards in special areas, improve the scientificity of special planning, constantly promote the implementation of the overall planning and assist the implementation of special planning through professional technical guidance, participation in public communication, refined design services, etc. (End)
