Figure 1 Understanding | Implementation Plan for Sludge Harmless Treatment and Resource Utilization

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, remarkable achievements have been made in the collection and treatment of urban domestic sewage in China, and the capability of harmless sludge treatment has been significantly enhanced. However, there is still the problem of "heavy water and light sludge". The construction of sludge treatment facilities is generally lagging behind, and the level of harmless treatment and resource utilization is not high.

This plan is formulated in order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, earnestly implement the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Recycling of Sewage agreed by the State Council, and improve the level of harmless treatment and recycling of sludge.
