China's non fossil energy power generation accounts for 36.2%

The report discloses that the average utilization hours of wind power generation in 2022 will be 2259 hours, an increase of 14 hours year on year; Power generation reached 762.4 billion kilowatt hours, up 16.3% year on year, accounting for 8.8% of the total power generation in China and 24.2% of non fossil energy power generation.

In 2022, the average utilization hours of photovoltaic power generation will be 1202 hours, an increase of 39 hours year on year; Power generation was 425.1 billion kWh, up 30.4% over the previous year, accounting for 4.9% of the total power generation in China and 13.5% of the non fossil energy power generation.

In 2022, China's power supply structure will continue to be optimized. The installed capacity of power generation in the country will be 2.56 billion kilowatts. The installed capacity of coal power will decrease to 43.8%, and the installed capacity of non fossil energy will increase to 49.6%. Among them, the installed capacity of grid connected wind power was 365.44 million kilowatts, up 11.2% year on year; PV installed capacity was 39.204 million kilowatts, up 28.1% year on year; The installed capacity of conventional hydropower is 367.71 million kilowatts, accounting for 14.3% of the total installed capacity of power supply in China and 30% of the installed capacity of non fossil energy power generation.

According to the latest survey results of water resources, the technical exploitable amount of water resources in China is 687 million kilowatts. The development degree of water resources in Sichuan and Yunnan is 59.3% and 64.4% respectively. The degree of water resources development in Tibet is only 1.7%, and the potential of water resources development is huge. The average development degree of water resources in other regions of China is 88.1%.

Du Zhongming, president of the General Institute of Electric Power Planning and Design, said that in the next three years, the national power demand will still maintain a rigid growth. Considering the rural revitalization, strictly control the development of high energy consumption and high pollution industries, vigorously promote the development of high-tech industries and high-end manufacturing industries, accelerate the development of emerging service industries, and continue to improve the level of household electrification and other factors on the impact of electricity consumption, it is estimated that the whole society will consume 92000 million kilowatt hours of electricity in 2023, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year; In 2024, the power consumption of the whole society will reach 9.5 to 9.7 trillion kilowatt hours, an increase of 4.3% to 5.2% year on year; In 2025, the whole society will consume 9.8 to 10.2 trillion kilowatt hours of electricity, an increase of 4% to 4.8% year on year.
