1、 Brief Introduction

When Xiao Zhang was in college, he failed to repay the loan on time due to borrowing money from the online loan platform, which affected the credit investigation. One day, Xiao Zhang met someone on his way to work who claimed that he could "act as an agent to safeguard rights and repair credit information at a low price". Xiao Zhang was eager to repair the credit investigation, so he paid a deposit of 2000 yuan on site as "agency fee" and provided the agent with a personal credit investigation report the next day. A week later, Xiao Zhang contacted the agent to inquire about the progress of handling, and found that the WeChat account of the other party showed that it had been disabled due to violations, and at the same time, the contact number provided by the other party could not be connected. Only then did Xiao Zhang realize that he had been cheated, and reported the case to the public security organ.

2、 Case study

In recent years, fraud cases using "credit investigation repair" are common, which are shown as follows:

（1） Defrauding high fees. By taking advantage of consumers' eagerness to eliminate bad credit records and their misunderstanding of "credit repair", we defrauded consumers of high agency fees in the name of "credit repair". After defrauding fees, we lost contact directly.

（2） Cheating personal sensitive information. By using the name of "credit investigation repair", consumers are required to provide personal sensitive information such as credit investigation reports, identity documents, contact information, etc., "agency rights protection agencies" criminals sell consumers' personal sensitive information to online loan platforms and other institutions, and even use these information to fake online loans, defraud high loan interest and endanger the personal and property safety of consumers.

First, there is no such statement as "repair" in the field of credit reporting. Anyone who claims to be able to handle "repair" is a fraud, and no one has the right to delete or modify credit reporting records at will. The overdue records on the credit investigation report shall be kept for 5 years after the arrears and interest are paid off. If there are overdue records, they shall be settled in time to recover the bad credit records as soon as possible.

Don't easily provide your credit report, ID card number, mobile phone number and other important information to others.
