Introduction to the Center

In 1988, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council officially approved the implementation of the China Torch Plan, a guiding plan aimed at developing China's high-tech industries. In October 1989, the Torch High tech Industry Development Center of the National Science and Technology Commission was officially established, taking the lead in the specific implementation of China's Torch Plan.
