Yong'an City, Fujian Province has a good reputation as "the hometown of bamboo shoots and bamboos in China". Lin Yida, a young Taiwanese born in the 1980s, has been engaged in bamboo shoot industry here for ten years. Lin Yida is a native of Kinmen. After graduating from Taiwan Chenggong University as a master, he used to be a software engineer. By coincidence, he was eager to make a breakthrough in his career when he met Yong'an Mao's Food Co., Ltd., which came to Taiwan to look for business opportunities. The two parties hit it off and agreed to cooperate.
In the past ten years, Lin Yida has completed the transformation from an engineer to a "new farmer", introduced science and technology into the deep processing of bamboo shoots, and led surrounding farmers to increase their income and become rich. Lin Yida said that nowadays, the opportunities for Taiwanese businessmen to develop in the mainland are limitless. He hopes to actively explore the innovative model of agricultural cooperation and contribute to the strength of Taiwan's youth in promoting the integration and development of rural areas across the Taiwan Straits.
