Well known scholars and representatives of industrial and commercial organizations on both sides of the Taiwan Straits fully exchanged views on further deepening the integrated development of Fujian and Taiwan, promoting industrial cooperation between the two sides of the Straits, sharing trend views, and helping to build a demonstration area for integrated development between the two sides of the Straits.

In the keynote speech entitled "Strengthening Cross Strait Industrial Cooperation and Building a Common Market", Cai Guozhou, President of the Taiwan Provincial Chamber of Commerce, said that to promote the integration and development of cross Strait industry and technology, it is not only necessary to actively create basic conditions and improve the investment environment with the help of the mainland's industrial development strategy, but also to rely on the mainland market to integrate resources across the Taiwan Strait, Encourage enterprises across the Straits to cooperate, innovate and create platforms together.

Cai Guozhou believed that to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results in cross-strait industrial cooperation, we must expand opening up, strengthen cross-strait cooperation in agriculture, fishery, e-commerce and other fields, pay attention to the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises, and establish effective communication mechanisms and cooperation models.

At the event site, the cross-strait agricultural biotechnology exchange center, Fuzhou Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises exchange service center, and the cross-strait financial and commercial integration development center were unveiled. (End)
