Yuanping Biomass Gas Production Demonstration Project of National Power Investment Corporation was selected into the list of national renewable energy pilot demonstration projects

Recently, the Energy Administration of Shanxi Province issued the Notice on Printing and Distributing the List of Pilot and Demonstration Projects of Renewable Energy, and the Yuanping Biogas Project of Shanxi Company was included in the list of national pilot and demonstration projects of renewable energy.

Yuanping Biomass Gas Production Project of Shanxi Company is the first project in China to couple biomass gas production with calcined alumina. Through advanced biomass gasification technology, the project converts biomass resources into biomass gas. After completion, it can consume about 120000 tons of crop waste straw every year, replace about 40 million Nm ³ of natural gas, reduce about 80000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and provide clean and efficient renewable energy supply for surrounding areas while effectively solving the problem of agricultural and forestry waste disposal, Create new advantages for development with new quality productivity, promote high-quality development of agricultural economy, and help China achieve the "3060" goal.
