RGC series recirculating gas refrigerators operate helium in a closed loop, enabling the continuous flow cryostat to operate without liquid helium. After being cooled and liquefied by RGC cryocooler, helium is transported to cryostat through flexible vacuum insulated infusion pipe to continue cooling the sample. RGC captures the vaporized gas through the helium transmission pipeline and re liquefies it, so as to keep the helium circulating.
The sample can be replaced when the RGC is not hot, so as to achieve rapid operation. Coupled with Lake Shore ST-500 series cryostat, it is an ultra stable cryomicroscope platform, which can cool samples and equipment below 4K without using liquid helium, and can maintain ultra-low vibration operation.
RGC and Lake Shore ST and STVP Series cryostat is compatible, and can also be used with some continuous flow liquid helium cryostat from other suppliers.
