He Yuquan, Director of the Third Institute of Jida:

Pulmonary artery denervation fills the technical gap in the province

Recently, the Third Hospital of Jida used pulmonary artery denervation to treat patients with pulmonary hypertension related to left heart disease. This technology filled the technical gap in our province and brought new hope for treatment of patients with heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.

The patient who underwent this operation had intermittent back pain and dyspnea for 4 years. After one week of aggravation, he entered the Third Hospital of Jida for treatment and was diagnosed as "chronic left heart failure, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, and pulmonary hypertension". After the comprehensive evaluation of He Yuquan, the director team of Cardiovascular Internal Medicine Department, decided to participate in the clinical trial of the PADN project, and developed a surgical plan for patients.

Under the leadership of Director He Yuquan, the team doctors cooperated closely and sent the disposable circumferential pulmonary artery radiofrequency catheter into the junction of the main pulmonary artery and the left pulmonary artery, so that the catheter was close to the inner wall of the pulmonary artery and radiofrequency ablation was performed at the "golden three points" anatomical position. The whole operation process was smooth, the instrument was easy to operate, the operation effect was good, and the cardiac output of patients was greatly improved. This new technology shows superior safety and effectiveness, innovates the new method of diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension in Northeast China, and demonstrates the profound strength and superb technical level of the hospital in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension.
