Ma Tieyi, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Blackfish Village, introduced that the theme of this moral review meeting was "moral review to eliminate bad habits, cultivate civilization and build new trends". At such a review meeting, Blackfish Village holds it every two months. At the meeting, the villagers will bring family conflicts, neighborhood disputes, etc. to the "table" for review. By presenting facts, reasoning, taking things as the basis, and convincing people with reason, they strive to achieve "little things do not go out of the village, and contradictions do not turn in" to ensure harmony and stability in the village. In addition, the moral appraisal committee also regularly praises advanced typical figures, promotes integrity, creates a good atmosphere of unity and harmony, civilization, integrity, and new style in the village, forms a healthy and progressive village style, maintains stable social order, and realizes self-education, self-management, and self service of the masses.

In the Blackfish Village, the role of the Moral Review Council is growing. An Hongyan, a villager, said that the council made public comments on uncivilized behaviors, mediated neighborhood conflicts, publicized and praised villagers' deeds such as "filial piety, loving family", "harmonious family style", "honesty and friendliness", and encouraged villagers to practice the new rural style of green civilization, which was very popular.
