A room of nearly 50 square meters is hung on the wall with the introduction of the innovation studio, the list of members, and the introduction of innovation achievements. "The innovation team and I have invented things that are convenient for passengers and convenient for vehicle maintenance and inspection. Since 2014, we have obtained 11 national practical patents, and there are still 6 innovations in the process of patent application." Nie Yongjun, the group leader of the "Model Worker Innovation Studio", said that he took reporters to watch their achievements in 2018 - the cab isolation door. Nie Yongjun said that due to the limited space in the cab and the difficulty in selecting materials, in order not to block the line of sight, the toughened glass with high safety coefficient and good transparency was finally selected. The isolation door is located behind the coin box and the card reader. The upper part is transparent tempered glass, and the lower part is a small opaque board. The small board is locked and the driver can open and close it by himself. The original intention of the invention is to protect the safety of bus drivers, so that they can concentrate on serving passengers during driving.

"The patent certificate has been issued last year, but it has not been put into production yet." Nie Yongjun said that with the continuous upgrading of public transport vehicles, more environmentally friendly and comfortable new energy buses have come to people's side. In order to make the previous research and development work worthwhile, the current research and development goal of the workshop is to improve the previous patents and apply them to new energy buses.

Nie Yongjun said that at present, the studio has more than 20 members, all of whom are technical backbones from the Public Transport Group. Due to outstanding achievements, "Nie Yongjun Model Worker Innovation Studio" has won the honorary title of "Model Worker Innovation Studio" at provincial and municipal levels. Nie Yongjun and members of his innovative studio, with excellent technology and warm service, won the praise of passengers and wrote the praises of workers that people admire.
