Since this year, the cultural tourism market has been hot. Data shows that in the first quarter of this year, the number of domestic tourists reached 1.419 billion, an increase of 203 million over the same period of the previous year, or 16.7% over the same period of the previous year. Domestic tourists spent a total of 1.52 trillion yuan on travel, an increase of 0.22 trillion yuan over the previous year, up 17.0% year on year.

Taking the opportunity of China Tourism Day on May 19, local cultural and tourism departments successively launched special tourism products and preferential activities to prepare for summer tourism, further stimulating the consumption potential of the tourism market.

Sichuan launched the "Easy Summer - Sichuan Cultural Tourism Summer Tourism Strategy", which covers "five themes, ten routes, 100 flavors of food, and N ways to play". Guizhou has released preferential policies for tourism into Guizhou, including free tickets for scenic spots, "one ticket for multi day use", 50% discount for highway tolls, and "Incentive Policy for Guizhou" Team Tourism, to start the summer tourism season in Guizhou. All preferential policies are valid until December 31, 2024.

The Department of Culture and Tourism of Liaoning Province has released seven special tourism routes, including "Free Rural Tourism in Liaoning at the Season of the Year", centering on enjoying flowers and birds in spring, enjoying cool summer, tasting maple rhymes in autumn, and enjoying ice and snow in winter.

Harbin launched the 2024 "Charming Harbin Summer" series of activities from April to October, which lasted for seven months. Focusing on the diversified ecological resources such as forests, wetlands, lakes, grasslands, etc., it designed and developed forest health care, leisure and summer, border tourism and other special tourism products.
