At the same time, it stipulates that the construction, use, operation and maintenance units that install image acquisition and personal identity recognition equipment in public places shall have the obligation to keep confidential the acquired personal images and identity recognition information, and shall not illegally disclose or provide them to the outside world.
The publication of the Draft for Comments is an effective response to the public's demands, which is conducive to enhancing the public's confidence and satisfaction in personal information security, and will fill the gap in the lack of specific normative legal basis for the application of face recognition technology. Only by standardizing the application scenarios of technology, rather than allowing its disorderly development, can we further stimulate the vitality and potential of related industries.
