The International Triennial of Decorative Arts and Contemporary Architecture in Milan, Italy (hereinafter referred to as the Milan Triennial) was founded in 1923 and held every three years. It was suspended in 1996 and resumed in 2016. According to the Convention on International Exhibitions, the Milan Triennial belongs to the scope of the World Expo recognized by the Bureau of International Exhibitions.
The 24th Milan Triennial will be held from May 17 to November 16, 2025, with the theme of "inequality - how to repair the cracks in human nature", aiming to explore the distribution of inequality in the fields of income, class, region and social origin, social mobility, culture and belief that run through human society. This Milan Triennial will be mainly exhibited in the Triennial Art Palace, and it is planned to use the park near the Art Palace as a supplementary exhibition area.
In order to promote the high-quality "going out" of China's creative cultural institutions with potential and characteristics, help China's cultural and creative institutions to better expand foreign exchanges and cooperation, demonstrate China's constantly improving level of creative design, and promote the innovative development of the cultural industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as the competent department responsible for China's participation in the World Expo, hereby invites relevant domestic institutions Institutions and enterprises participated in the 24th Milan Triennial as unofficial exhibitors. For details of the introduction and exhibition regulations of the 24th Milan Triennial, see the annex.
Relevant domestic institutions, institutions and enterprises interested in participating in the exhibition are welcome to actively study and send the application form for participation (see the annex), application letter with official seal and participation scheme to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade before July 11, 2024. The contents of the exhibition should fully combine national, international and creative features, highlight cultural self-confidence, and show the ideological and spiritual strength behind Chinese stories. The applicant shall bear the expenses related to the exhibition.
