Bank Confirmation Request

       [Product Description]

    The bank confirmation letter and reply letter refer to the business that the accounting firm directly sends the confirmation letter to Bohai Bank (hereinafter referred to as "our bank") after obtaining the authorization of the audited unit. Our bank queries and checks the relevant information and directly provides the reply letter against the confirmation letter received.

    The audited entity refers to the corporate client of the Bank who entrusts an accounting firm to send a letter to the Bank to confirm the credit status of business transactions with the Bank in order to meet the needs of external audit, evaluation and other business. The bank confirmation inquiry letter issued by the asset appraisal institution and other third-party institutions after obtaining the authorization of the enterprise according to law shall be handled with reference to the letter requirements issued by the accounting firm.

       [Scope of reply]

    Our bank can accept items 1-13 of the letter of inquiry and the attached tables that comply with the relevant provisions of the Operational Guidelines for Bank Correspondence (CBK [2024] No. 2). For item 14 "Others" of the audit confirmation letter, the certified public accountant shall list the specific matters to be confirmed before issuing the letter. If the certified public accountant needs to confirm other confirmation contents not publicized by the Bank, he/she can communicate with the acceptance institution of the Bank on the confirmation contents in advance.

    The scope of our bank's letter does not include the financial product data of the financial subsidiary, and the certified public accountant needs to confirm the financial product issued by the financial subsidiary.

    Acceptance Process and Requirements

    (1) Paper letter

    1. The Bank supports two ways of letter confirmation, namely, mailing by accounting firms and letter following by authorized certified public accountants, and the confirmation letter directly submitted by the audited unit without any reason. Materials required for correspondence: the original ID card of the handling personnel of the accounting firm, and the original letter of introduction stamped with the seal of the accounting firm. If the person following the letter directly takes the reply, he/she shall cooperate with our bank to handle the on-site handover procedures.

    2. The format of the bank confirmation inquiry letter shall comply with the requirements of the Regulations on Printing and Distributing <Operational Guidelines for Bank Letters> The standard format and relevant provisions of the Notice of the People's Republic of China (Finance and Banking Commission [2024] No. 2, hereinafter referred to as the "Operating Guidelines"), items 1-14 listed in the bank confirmation letter (Form 1) and the bank confirmation letter (Form 2), and the format of the attached table cannot be modified (such as adding or deleting fields). For items or fields that are determined not to require letter confirmation, the items or fields shall be crossed out with a slash and shall not be left blank. If there is information that needs additional explanation, fill in Item 14 "Others", and list the specific items.

    3. The reply address, contact person, contact phone number, e-mail address, etc. of the accounting firm in the bank confirmation letter shall be filled in completely and shall not be blank. The address and contact information shall be filled in the address and contact information filled in by the unified supervision platform of the certified public accountant industry, and we will verify the reply address according to the regulatory requirements; Only one base date can be filled in for one confirmation letter.

    4. The bank confirmation letter "We hereby authorize your bank to withdraw the fees for handling the reply service of this confirmation letter from our XX account" should be filled in the current settlement account opened in our bank as the authorized deduction account, not the deposit account, fixed account, special account for migrant workers' wages, special account for entrusted loans and other accounts that cannot be used for deduction Our internal accounts and accounts of other banks.

    5. The official seal or reserved seal reserved by the audited unit when opening an account shall be affixed to the signature of the letter of confirmation from the bank. The multi page letter of confirmation shall be affixed with the seal on the perforation, and the seal on the perforation shall be reserved for the signature of the customer. If the bank confirmation letter involves multiple accounts with different reserved signatures, one of which is the authorized deduction account, the letter shall be stamped with the reserved seal of the authorized deduction account. In case of account cancellation, account cancellation, signature and seal change and other special circumstances, please consult our acceptance institution and cooperate with us to provide signatures and materials.

    6. If the letter does not meet the requirements of the Operation Guidelines and the above requirements, we will return it. If we fail to supplement relevant signatures or materials or pay service fees in time within 3 working days after contacting the accounting firm, we will return any letter that we cannot accept.

    7. Our bank will reply with the subject scope represented by the addressee (the "head" of the confirmation letter) filled in the bank confirmation letter. The highest level of reply scope can support the subject scope of tier one branches. For the scope of letters that tier one branches can support, please refer to the information of the following acceptance institutions.

    (2) Digital correspondence

    1. Our bank has accessed the China Banking Association's bank confirmation blockchain service platform (hereinafter referred to as the "BOCA confirmation platform") and accepted the bank confirmation inquiry (format 1 and format 2) and bank confirmation function letter for capital verification business in line with the provisions of the Operating Guidelines. The accounting firm needs to access the correspondence platform of BOCA, and the audited unit needs to open our professional corporate online banking.

    2. The "authorized enterprise online banking account" used by the accounting firm when applying for the digital letter must be the settlement account number attached to our corporate online banking by the respondent, and the account cannot be the deposit account, fixed account, special account for migrant workers' wages, special account for entrusted loans and other accounts that cannot be used for deduction, our internal account and accounts of other banks.

    3. The application for digital letter shall be filled in according to one letter of confirmation and one letter base date. The date range can be filled in for the "start date of letter confirmation item" and "end date of letter confirmation item" of the bank deposit account cancelled during the period of confirmation item 3, and our bank takes the "end date of letter confirmation item" as the base date of letter confirmation; The "start date of letter confirmation" of other confirmation items shall be consistent with the "end date of letter confirmation", which is taken as the base date of letter confirmation by our bank.

    4. After the accounting firm applies for the digital letter, please timely notify the enterprise to complete the business authorization through our corporate online banking client within 15 working days, and we will reply within 10 working days from the date of the customer's authorization.

    5. Our bank will charge digital correspondence fees (if necessary) through "authorized enterprise online banking account" before the completion of the reply.

    6. Our bank will reply with the scope of tier one sub banks corresponding to the opening bank of "authorized enterprise online banking account".

    Our bank confirmation inquiry is handled by tier one branches in a centralized manner, and accounting firms can inquire tier one branches for business information within their jurisdiction (including tier two branches).
