Yantai Cable Factory is located in Zhifu District of Yantai, a beautiful coastal city. It has 627 employees, including more than 110 engineering technicians, who are specialized in optical fiber, wire and cable manufacturing, optics, nuclear physics, machinery, chemical engineering, electronics, computer and automation control. The plant covers an area of 100000 square meters, with a building area of 42000 square meters, fixed assets of 90.24 million yuan, and an annual production capacity of 400 million yuan. The enterprise can manufacture a complete range of radiation cross-linking, chemical cross-linking, all plastic power cable, control cable, optical fiber cable and other products with more than 3000 specifications. In 1996, the enterprise invested 3 million dollars to introduce a full set of internationally advanced production equipment and inspection instruments for optical fiber and cable, which can produce cable series products such as layer twisted bundle tube type and ADSS.
