I What is a skirting line?

It is the contour line of the ground, and the line of sight often falls on it naturally.

III Color selection of skirting line
There are two main ways to choose the color of the skirting line: one is the approach method, and the other is the contrast method. Proximity method: it refers to the selection method in which the color of the selected skirting line is consistent with or similar to the color of the floor tile. Contrast method: it refers to the contrast between the color of the selected skirting line and the color of the floor tile.
IV Installation process of skirting
Drilling: before drilling, observe the wiring direction of water and electricity to prevent errors. The interval between boreholes shall not be too large, or the skirting line will be difficult to stick to the wall.
Use special tools to drill holes on the wall. The common length of aluminum alloy skirting line is 5m. In order to fix the skirting line more firmly, the interval of drilling holes should be about 40cm, and the interval at the interface should be smaller.
Nail the small wooden strip into the hole just made. The nails used to fix the skirting line are nailed on the wooden strip and directly nailed on the wall, so the nails are easy to loosen.
Note: Since the pipes of the hydropower project are buried on the wall, the position of the pipe is directly below the switch socket. The position should be calculated when drilling to avoid damage.
Fixing: Before fixing the skirting line, the wall surface shall be leveled and cleaned, otherwise the skirting line cannot fully cling to the wall surface after being installed, leaving ugly gaps.
See the position of the drill hole, and then fix the nail to the skirting line. When fixing, pay attention to whether the skirting line is close to the wall, and the nails should also be completely submerged in the skirting line, which can not be seen.
Note: Skirting lines made of polymer, density board and wood all have the characteristics of thermal expansion and cold contraction, so the skirting line near the corner of the wall should also be the same as the floor, leaving an expansion joint of about 1cm.
Edge and corner processing: at the corner of the wall and where the skirting lines intersect, the edge of the skirting lines should be cut at a 45 degree angle, so that no ugly marks will be left at the interface. Fix the cut skirting line. Note: The skirting line of the wall corner can be spliced and installed only after being cut at a 45 degree angle, or it will affect the beauty.
Key points for installation: special thread nails shall be used to fix the skirting line, so that the fixing effect is better and it is not easy to loosen. We should pay attention to whether the manufacturers cut corners.
The skirting line was originally designed to cover the expansion joints of the floor and make the floor more beautiful. Therefore, the intersecting edges of the skirting lines should be scraped with a plane.
The skirting line should be completely close to the wall, leaving no gaps, which is more beautiful, especially in the corner. The flatness of the wall shall be tested before installation.
