① It has the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance, not easy to fatigue crack, good sealing, small resistance, etc., and is used to make automobile oil pipe and brake pipe. ② PA11 is an ideal new material for military equipment. Military equipment made of PA11 can withstand humidity, drought, severe cold (below - 40 ℃), intense heat (up to 70 ℃), dust, sea water or salty air. It can withstand various collision tests, and can be used as butt, grip, trigger retainer, parachute cover, etc. ③ PA11 has good arc resistance and electrolytic corrosion resistance, and can be used as a protective sleeve for wires and cables to improve the reliability of the cable and extend its service life; When used as the protective material of submarine optical cables and cables, it can reduce the loss of signals in the transmission process. ④ When the gas pipeline made of PA11 is buried, the lifting device is not needed because of its light weight. 3. Development history of PA11

PA11 has incomparable advantages, but because of its high cost (at present, the market price of PA11 is about 100000 yuan/t), its application range is greatly limited. Central North University used the following methods to modify PA11, which significantly reduced costs while retaining its unique properties: PA11 was plasticized by N, N-dimethyl-p-toluenesulfonamide, and the mechanical properties of the system were studied. Because N, N-dimethyl-p-toluenesulfonamide and PA11 both contain - NH2, their compatibility is good, a small amount of plasticizer can greatly improve the impact strength of PA11, but the tensile strength will not be greatly lost, effectively improving the comprehensive performance of PA11.
