Due to its large capacity and slow internal flow rate of sewage, the fine particles originally suspended in the water are easy to settle at the bottom of the tank, making the tank plugged, sludge fermentation, odor emission, and affecting the surrounding environment. In order to prevent this phenomenon, aeration measures are set in the tank, which mainly play the following main functions: A. Their retention time in the system is far longer than the hydraulic retention time of sewage, so the anaerobic tank has strong organic matter removal capacity.
