1 Main models and functions

This series of products includes the following devices:

1.3.1 Line protection measurement and control device

PSL641UX line protection and measurement and control device is mainly used for over-current protection, which is applicable to the protection and measurement and control of transmission or distribution lines.

1.3.2 Transformer protection and monitoring device

a. PST641UX transformer differential protection device is applicable to transformers of 3MVA and above capacity or important transformers of industrial enterprises;

b. PST642UX transformer protection and monitoring device is suitable for backup protection of transformers of 3MVA and above capacity or important transformers of industrial enterprises;

c. PST645UX transformer protection and monitoring device, with overcurrent protection as the main protection, is applicable to the substation/grounding transformer/station transformer.

1.3.3 Capacitor protection, measurement and control device

PSC641UX capacitor protection and measurement and control device is applicable to the protection and measurement and control of parallel capacitor banks in the substation, and is configured with differential voltage (or differential current) and unbalanced voltage (or current) inputs.

1.3.4 Reactor protection, measurement and control device

The PST648UX reactor protection and measurement and control device is applicable to the protection and measurement and control of series parallel reactors with voltage levels of 35kV and below.

1.3.5 Automatic switching device of standby power supply

PSP641UX standby power automatic switching device, which has 7 typical connection modes for standby switching, is suitable for standby power automatic switching of different voltage levels and connection modes.

1.3.6 Motor protection, measurement and control device

a. PSM641UX motor protection and monitoring device, including differential function, is suitable for large asynchronous or synchronous motor protection with capacity of 2MW and above;

b. PSM642UX motor protection and monitoring device, which does not include differential function, is suitable for 3~10kV asynchronous motor protection.

1.5 Module description

1.5.1 AC module

AC module includes two parts: voltage input and current input. Different types of devices have different numbers of voltage and current input elements. The voltage input element is composed of voltage converter, and the rated input is 100V. Current input elements have the following specifications:

1.5.2 CPU module

The module provides Ethernet RJ45 interface terminal for Ethernet access. The device and HUB shall be connected through the shielded twisted pair Category 5 line STP5. Both ends of the communication line shall be connected in the following color sequence. If both ends of the shielded twisted pair use RJ45 connector with metal shield (TIA/EIA-568A) as the connector, the connector must be made with special RJ45 crimping pliers, and ensure that the shielding layer of the twisted pair and RJ45 connector is reliably connected. At the same time, the AC power protection ground of HUB should be connected with the earth, so that the shielding layer of twisted pair and RJ45 connector can be reliably grounded to ensure that the shielding layer works.

1.5.3 DIO module

The functions of DIO modules vary according to different devices, including different functions and configurations. See specific device models for details.

1.5.4TRIP module

This module includes two functions: logic circuit and operation circuit. This module is a universal module for series protection. The contacts defined as standby output in the device can be used as extended functions as required. Device alarm signals are divided into local alarm and central alarm signals. If the device is found to have serious abnormalities during CPU self inspection, immediately drive the relay to cut off the 24V tripping power supply of the CPU module, and output the sub contact to the central signal while lighting the local alarm signal light on the device panel, which is called local alarm. At this time, the device protection function has actually exited operation, so it is necessary to arrange maintenance and check the device as soon as possible!

The central alarm signal mainly reflects the abnormal operating conditions of the primary equipment corresponding to the device (such as TV disconnection), and is used to remind the operators, which is called calling. In this case, the device outputs a pair of contacts to the central signal while lighting the local alarm signal lamp on the device panel, but does not cut off the 24V power supply. Local and central signals are respectively given by the contact of the relay.

Setting mode of tripping and closing holding current: set to adaptive 1A~high holding current, and then R9, R10, KK1 are connected with relay TBJ VD1、VD2、VD3、VD4, R5, R6 and KK4 are connected to relay HBJ VD5、VD6、VD7、VD8; If the actual holding current is less than 1A, it is necessary to disconnect the tripping circuit from KK1 in series with R10, and disconnect the closing circuit from KK4 in series with R6.

If the operation circuit provided by this module is not used, but other external operation boxes are used, some terminals of the operation circuit of this module must be connected with the external operation box to ensure that the device can correctly judge the position of the circuit breaker and other signals. X4:7 is connected to the positive control power supply of the external operation box, X4:16 is connected to the negative control power supply of the external operation box, X4:14 is connected to the opening auxiliary contact, X4:8 is connected to the closing auxiliary contact of the circuit breaker, and X4:9 is connected to the manual tripping input terminal of the external operation box if necessary. When the anti tripping circuit of this module is required, X4:15 is connected to the negative control power supply of the external operation box. When the anti tripping circuit of this module is not required, X4:15 can be kept floating, i.e. e) GPS timing input

a、 Protective current converter: the rated input current is high or 1A, and the default is high. If 1A is used, it should be explained when ordering;

b、 Zero sequence current converter: rated input current is 30A (high side zero sequence 20A);

c、 Measuring current converter: the rated input current is high or 1A, and the default is high. If 1A is used, it should be stated when ordering.
