1、 Requirements for permeable concrete pavement base
1. The thickness of permeable concrete pavement: the pavement thickness of sidewalk, bicycle lane and other light load ground is generally not less than 8cm; The thickness of surface layer of medium load ground in parking lot, square, etc. shall not be less than 10cm.
2. A uniform and flat permeable base course and cushion shall be provided under the surface layer of permeable concrete. The larger particle size of crushed stone for base course shall be less than 0.7 times the thickness of base course, and shall not exceed 50mm; The particle size of cushion gravel shall be less than 10mm.
2、 Construction
1. Formwork erection: first, separate formwork erection and regional formwork erection shall be carried out according to the design requirements, and attention shall be paid to height, perpendicularity, flashing slope and other issues during formwork erection.
2. Mixing: Pervious concrete shall be ordinary Concrete mixer stir. When mixing, first mix the cement and crushed stone for about 30 seconds to make them preliminarily mixed, then add the specified amount of water 2-3 times, and continue to mix for 1.5-2 minutes.
3. Paving: evenly spread the mixed permeable concrete on the base course, and use the plate vibrator to vibrate and compact.

matters needing attention:
1. Strictly control the water cement ratio, add water for 2-3 times, and do not add water at one time.
2. Permeable concrete has fast initial setting and must be paved in time. The vibration time of plate vibrator shall not be too long, and high-frequency vibrator shall not be used for tamping.
3. Due to the rapid loss of water in permeable concrete, the construction maintenance should be strengthened.
