Once upon a time, the rubber production of Jinghong Farm has maintained an output of more than 130 kg per mu for 20 consecutive years, becoming the first agricultural reclamation enterprise with an annual dry rubber output of more than 20000 tons in the country. The total output ranks first in the country, and both the per mu and per plant output remain at the world advanced level. In recent years, due to the change of supply and demand relationship in domestic and foreign markets, and the increasingly mature synthetic rubber Due to factors such as products, the price of natural rubber products remained low.
Lu Jiping, deputy director of Jinghong Farm Management Committee, said that in January 2016, Jinghong Farm Economic Development Office had made statistics that from 2011 to 2015, the latex sold by farm employees was converted into dry glue, and the price per kilogram was 27.2 yuan, 21.3 yuan, 13 yuan, 8.8 yuan and 7.8 yuan respectively. From the perspective of future development trend, it is expected that a large number of natural rubber will still be put on the market in the next few years, and the price of natural rubber will still be low.
Resources integration and innovative products promote the development of Yunnan rubber industry
The output of natural rubber in Yunnan accounts for half of the country, and this decline in rubber prices has a natural impact on the rubber industry in Yunnan Province. How does the rubber industry of Yunnan cope with the challenge in the face of low rubber market prices? At the first Yunnan Rubber Industry Development Forum held a few days ago, experts from inside and outside the province came up with suggestions.
The forum focused on the theme of "New Situation of China's Rubber Industry Development under the Supply side Reform -- Integration and Innovation", and experts at the meeting exchanged and discussed how to establish new ideas, adapt to the new normal, tap new potential, seek new breakthroughs, and rebuild industry confidence. As of 2015, the planting area of natural rubber in China has exceeded 17 million mu, including about 8.56 million mu in Yunnan (about 4.21 million mu of cutting area), with an average yield of 113 kg per mu. The output of natural rubber in Yunnan Province has accounted for more than 50% of the national output. Although the planting area is large, it is still small, scattered and weak. Therefore, experts suggest that resource integration, group development and scale operation are particularly important.
Along with resource integration and centralized planning, changing the traditional rubber rough processing mode and extending to the finishing industry chain is another way to break the bottleneck of development.
Zheng Wenrong, secretary-general of China Natural Rubber Association, said, "We need to develop new products in particular. At present, the variety of rubber products is relatively simple. In fact, rubber is used in all walks of life. In addition to tires, special rubber should be developed for national defense, military industry, high-speed rail, aerospace, etc."
