According to PHOENIX, Arizona, USA, the theme of 2008 IDSA exhibition is "unity of opposites". As a microcosm of this theme, GLS displayed the award-winning SCUBA frog shoe, which combines hard and shiny yellow polypropylene material with soft and flexible rough black Thermoplastic elastomer Together. The Amphibian frog shoe won the bronze medal of Business Week Conception Design Award. This is a complicated design, because the fin knife required for walking on land is different from that in water. When the blade leans against the calf, flexible and soft materials are necessary for comfort. The foot belt needs to be comfortable, and must be durable and suitable for walking on the ground. In order to obtain underwater performance, we need a material that combines stiffness and flexibility for propulsion and turning, and it is light in weight.
