3.4.1 Unit filter status
When the system is in the filtering state, the source water passes through the three-layer water distributor and cooperates with the spherical shell to reach the filler Layer. When water flows through the packing layer, impurities are trapped in the packing layer. There are 55 mushroom shaped water collectors at the bottom of the filter to collect and discharge the filtered water evenly. Horizontal flow distribution determines that the filter can filter at high flow rate and still achieve good filtering effect.
3.4.2 Unit backwashing status
With the accumulation of impurities in the packing layer, the pressure head loss will continue to increase. When the pressure head loss reaches a certain set limit, the system will automatically switch to the backwash state to clean the accumulated impurities.
For the system, regular backwashing is necessary to remove the accumulated impurities. When the system is in backwashing state, one or more filters in the same group will pass clean and filtered water through one tee The backwash valve is poured back into the filter at the same time. During this backwashing process, the filler layer of the backwashed filter unit is washed up under the impact of water flow, and impurities are discharged through a three-way backwashing port. In the AMF system, the specially designed water collector enables the packing layer to form an internal loop during backwashing, and the packing layers scrub each other, greatly improving the backwashing efficiency, reducing the backwashing water required, and at the same time, there is no sand leakage during backwashing. When backwashing is over, valve It returns to the filtering state, and the next filtering unit is ready to enter the backwashing state.
