There are three kinds of diaphragms: intake diaphragms, intermediate diaphragms and end diaphragms. Diaphragm is the main stator component constituting the air flow passage. The middle diaphragm is composed of vaneless diffuser, bend and reflux. The inlet baffle plate and the end baffle plate have no backflow device and are installed at the inlet end and outlet end respectively.
