The composite geomembrane is composed of geomembrane and geotextile, of which the geomembrane plays the role of anti-seepage, and the geotextile plays the role of protecting the anti-seepage geomembrane from the rupture and tear damage of building structures and materials, improving the mechanical properties of the composite geomembrane, and achieving the reinforcement and repair functions of anti-skid, infiltration, filtration, etc. When composite geomembrane impervious materials are used for anti-seepage and water-saving reinforcement and repair of the channel, the total cost of the project should be high according to the scale of the channel project.

The geological conditions, groundwater level and other parameters in the low and engineering areas shall be reasonably selected to meet the relevant technical index requirements of national standards. According to the reasonable calculation of irrigation area and channel permeability coefficient in the irrigation area, after determining the channel flow capacity, flow section and other parameters, 0.3mm thick high-density polyethylene composite geomembrane (high-density polyethylene membrane) was finally selected as the anti-seepage material of the channel. After the excavation of the embankment and the bottom of the canal, the sharp wastes such as grass roots, tree roots, rubbles, stones, and concrete particles shall be carefully removed, and the impermeable layer of the geomembrane shall not be damaged. After the wastes are removed, they shall be tamped and treated until the canal soil is pressed. The composite geomembrane can be laid only after the actual coefficient meets the relevant standards or design requirements and is accepted by the site supervision engineer. In the process of laying, welding and sewing, it is strictly prohibited to carry out composite geomembrane in rainy days. At the same time, during the welding process, ensure that the substrate surface * * * has a drying property, the moisture content should be controlled within 15%, and the membrane surface should be wiped clean with dry gauze before welding. During the whole construction process, it is not allowed to bring kindling into the construction site, and it is not allowed to wear spiked shoes, high-heeled shoes and hard soled shoes directly on the composite geomembrane; Construction vehicles, construction machinery and other equipment are not allowed to roll the geotextile and its protective layer. The welding operator shall observe the welding quality of the geotextile at any time, and reasonably adjust the welding temperature and walking speed in full consideration of the weather, temperature, humidity and other conditions in the construction area. As the laying, welding and sewing of composite geomembrane are concealed works, self inspection must be carried out during the construction process and then reported to the supervising engineer for on-site acceptance. The next process can be started only after the quality is qualified
