◆ Stone plastic floor is a domestic term, which refers to PVC sheet floor. Because the main raw material of PVC sheet floor is natural stone powder and the wear-resistant layer is PVC, it is called "stone plastic floor" or "stone plastic floor tile".

◆ Plastic floor and PVC plastic floor are both non-standard names. We can understand them as PVC floor.

◆ Rubber floor and PVC floor are two concepts. Rubber floor is made of natural rubber, synthetic rubber and other polymer materials. Styrene butadiene, high benzene and cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber are synthetic rubber, which are by-products of petroleum. ◆ Linen floor is also completely different from PVC floor. Linen floor is a kind of elastic floor material. Its components are: flaxseed oil, limestone, cork, wood flour, natural resin, jute. Natural and environmental protection is a prominent feature of flax floor, which has good butt resistance. At present, flax is mainly coiled material, which is a single homogenous and permeable structure.

◆ Anti static floor is also called dissipative static floor. This kind of floor, when it is grounded or connected to any lower potential point, enables the charge to dissipate, and is characterized by a resistance of 1.0x105-109 Ω. There are many kinds of anti-static floors, mainly including anti-static ceramic tiles, three anti-static raised floor, all steel anti-static raised floor, composite anti-static floor, aluminum alloy anti-static floor, imitation imported wood anti-static floor, PVC anti-static floor, calcium sulfate anti-static floor, among which anti-static PVC floor belongs to the category of PVC floor.

"Anti static PVC floor" is an anti-static floor made by adding conductive materials to the components of PVC floor. However, it is not simple to add some toner. The anti-static floor has strict boundaries in the resistance value. Generally, the floor with a resistance between the 6th power of 10 and the 9th power of 10 is called anti-static floor, and the floor with a resistance between the 4th power of 10 and the 6th power of 10 is called conductive floor. The anti-static floor is mainly used in machine rooms, special wards, accurate workshops and other spaces with special requirements for static electricity. So anti-static PVC floor is also a kind of PVC floor. But adding some conductive components to the rubber floor can also prevent static electricity.

<1> Comparison between PVC floor and linen floor:

PVC floor and linen floor belong to elastic floor, but they are different:

The composition and production process are different: flax floor is made from the mixture of oxidized flaxseed oil, cork and wood flour, laminated onto the jute backing. The PVC floor is made of PVC and its copolymer resin as the main raw materials, adding fillers, plasticizers, stabilizers, colorants and other auxiliary materials, on the continuous sheet substrate, through coating process or calendering, extrusion or extrusion process. From this point of view, flax is made of pure natural flax, while PVC flooring is made of PVC, but it is also a green and environmentally friendly material.

◆ There are differences in abrasion resistance and stability: the scratch resistance of linen floor is general, and the linen floor is hard at the top and soft at the bottom, which is why the scratch resistance of thick linen floor is not very good. Compared with PVC floor, the abrasion resistance of PVC floor is better. In addition, the dimensional stability of linen floor is general, so strong glue must be used. The flax floor has poor resistance to maintenance products (PH>7), and special maintenance products must be used when the flax floor needs to be polished and waxed again. Linen floor is much harder than PVC floor, but because the surface is porous, all stains must be removed quickly, otherwise the surface will leave traces that are difficult to remove and have to be polished and waxed again. Because it is not a thermoplastic material, it cannot be recycled. The scalded marks can be easily polished off, but for deeper scalded marks, it is much easier to polish the transparent PVC floor than the linen floor.

◆ The installation difficulty is different: it is difficult to install the linen floor. If the indoor temperature is too low, the linen floor will break. Because of its absorption nature and dimensional instability, the product must be installed quickly with strong glue. For example, one installation team can lay 80 to 100 m2 of PVC floor in one day, or it may only lay 60 m2 of linen floor. Linseed oil is not sensitive to temperature, and welding rods of the same material cannot be used for welding, so it is not welding but "seam". Therefore, the linen floor cannot be classified as E3 waterproof. The linen floor is not suitable for wet rooms or areas with cleanliness requirements. The linen floor will give off a strong smell and stay in the installed room.

◆ The difficulty of installation varies: the PVC floor is light in texture and easy to install; The rubber floor is very heavy, which is difficult to install. Moreover, the installation method of rubber floor is more strict. If the method is not correct, bubbles will appear, and the requirements for self leveling foundation are more perfect, otherwise the defects of the base course will be exaggerated.

◆ There are differences in market demand and wear resistance: rubber flooring is only used in some high places due to its high price, and its scope is relatively narrow; PVC flooring is widely used because of its very high cost performance ratio, and its market potential is huge. In addition, the rubber floor has stronger wear resistance, and is very suitable for places with large traffic such as airports and stations, as well as aircraft, trains, subways, cars, ships and other transportation vehicles.

Different ingredients and production processes: carpet is a floor covering made of cotton, linen, wool, silk, grass and other natural fibers or chemical synthetic materials, which are knitted, tufted or spun by manual or mechanical processes.

◆ Performance and maintenance are different: Carpets are flammable, and they are afraid of fire, water and moisture. Besides, maintenance is very troublesome, and they are easy to get dirty, hide dirt, and breed bacteria. The PVC floor is fireproof and flame retardant, and is not afraid of water and moisture. It is very simple to take care of, and can be wiped with a rag. It has good stain resistance and the effect of balancing colonies.

Its raw materials are mostly clay, quartz sand, etc.

Wood flooring can be roughly divided into three categories: solid wood flooring, solid wood composite flooring and laminate flooring.

◆ Solid wood floor is a natural material, which has the irreplaceable advantages of synthetic materials, harmless and tasteless, comfortable feet, warm in winter and cool in summer. However, it also has the disadvantages of high price, large consumption of hardwood resources, heavy workload of laying and installation, difficult maintenance (fear of fire, water and moisture), and large size changes in the width and direction of the floor with the change of relative humidity.

◆ The base material of laminate flooring is medium density or high density fiberboard and particleboard, with good dimensional stability. The surface layer is impregnated decorative paper containing wear-resistant materials, which ensures the wear-resistant performance of the surface layer, which has good cigarette burning resistance, scratch resistance and pollution resistance. Compared with the first two, there is a considerable gap between the super wear-resistant and pollution resistance of PVC flooring.

◆ Plastic floor (floor leather) is a very low-end product. Its main component is plastic, which is afraid of fire, easy to age and has a short service life.

◆ Bamboo flooring is also made of natural bamboo and wood, which is green and environmentally friendly. However, the bamboo floor is also afraid of water, fire and moisture. It is sensitive to indoor temperature and humidity, and is easy to expand, deform, shrink, crack, or even mildew.

◆ The surface of bamboo floor is painted, with poor abrasion resistance and scratch resistance.
