If the front wheel is locked, the driver will not be able to control the driving direction of the vehicle. If the rear wheel is locked, It is very easy to slip. In ABS, the brake pipeline that can independently adjust the brake pressure is called the control channel. The control channels of ABS device are divided into four channel type, three channel type, two channel type and one channel type. (1) Four channel four channel ABS has four wheel speed sensors. Each of the pipelines leading to the four wheel wheel cylinders is equipped with a brake pressure regulator device for independent control, forming a four channel control form. Therefore, when driving on wet and slippery roads such as partial icing or ponding, the driver should reduce the speed and not blindly believe in the ABS device. (2) The three channel three channel ABS controls the two front wheels independently, and the two rear wheels are controlled together according to the principle of low selection (that is, two wheels are controlled by one channel to ensure that the wheels with less adhesion do not lock), also known as hybrid control. Independent control of the two front wheels is mainly considered for cars, especially front wheel drive cars. (3) Two channel two channel ABS is difficult to take into account directional stability, steering control and braking efficiency, and is rarely used at present. (4) One channel one channel ABS is often called single channel ABS. It is to set a brake pressure regulator in the rear wheel brake manifold, and install a wheel speed sensor on the rear axle final drive (or one on each rear wheel).
