Product characteristics:

1. The construction process is simple. The construction can be done by mechanical spraying or manual painting. The drying is fast and the construction period is short.

2. The waterproof layer is cheap, and generally only needs to be painted three times to achieve waterproof effect.

3. The waterproof layer is firmly bonded with the base course, and the waterproof layer is firmly bonded with the upper asphalt concrete.

Product executive standard:

Water based Asphalt Waterproof Coating for Road and Bridge (JT/T535-2004) also conforms to the Standard of Waterproof Coating for Road and Bridge (JC/T975-2005).

Product construction method and process:

1) Preparation of construction tools:

The mixing bucket shall be prepared before construction, and the spraying machine or special bristle brush shall be prepared.

2) Base course requirements:

The strength of bridge deck and beam concrete shall reach the design mark, and the surface shall be free of loose laitance, peeling, hollowing and serious cracking. The surface flatness shall meet the requirements of bridge specifications. The elevation of the upper opening of the vertical drainage pipe shall be lower than the elevation of the base layer. The drainage outlet must be firmly installed with the base layer without any looseness.

3) Base treatment requirements: the base surface shall be clean and dry, free of accumulated water, dust, floating ash, impurities, oil stains, etc. Before the waterproof layer is made, the surface can be cleaned by air compressor, water purification, degreasing agent, etc. If there are hard sundries such as concrete and mortar, they should be polished off.

Construction steps of waterproof layer (take three coats as an example):

1) The barreled coating shall be stirred evenly before painting;

2) Before large-area painting, use a small brush to paint the leak twice, and apply waterproof paint on the internal corner for three times, and then paint once in a large area;

3) The second coating can be applied after the first coating is dry. The second coat of paint shall be applied after the surface is dry;

4) Coating amount: 1.5kg/m2, coating thickness is 0.50.77mm generally, and spraying is 1kg/m2;

5) The construction temperature should be 0-35 ℃. It is not suitable for construction in rainy days and freezing periods.
