Stacking and storage of pipes
1. The pipe storage site shall be flat, free of sundries and ponding, and have sufficient bearing capacity.
2. The pipes shall be placed 2m away from the heat source and equipped with fire-fighting facilities.
3. Pipe sleepers must be padded when stacking pipes; The width of the pipe sleeper shall be greater than 150mm and the height shall be greater than 100mm. During storage, pipes of the same type shall be placed together, and 12m long pipes shall be placed layer by layer from the ground. Each layer can be stacked for a short time without whole blocks, but the height shall not be more than 1.5m.
4. During the storage of pipes; Both ends of the steel pipe shall be sealed, and it shall be covered with felt cloth when stored in the open air. It is forbidden to expose to the sun and rain.
5. Pipes shall be hoisted with slings with a width greater than 50mm.
6. During loading and unloading, it shall be lifted and placed gently to prevent bumping.
7. Vertical lifting shall be adopted for truck loading and unloading, and forklift can be used for container loading and unloading with the cooperation of loader. It is forbidden to use iron tools to pry or wire ropes to bind the outer casing directly during hoisting.
