The installation of light steel keel gypsum board partition wall should generally go through the following processes: wall position setting out * wall pad construction * installation of keels along the ground and top * installation of vertical keels * fixing of door and window makeup * installation of gypsum board on one side of the wall * installation of gypsum board on the other side * joint treatment * wall decoration.
1. Wall setting out
According to the wall position determined by the design, set out the wall position line on the ground, and lead the line to the ceiling and side wall.
2. Wall mat construction
First, clean the contact part between the wall pad and the floor, apply an interface treatment agent, and then pour C20 concrete wall pad. The upper surface of the wall pad should be flat and the two sides should be vertical.
3. Install keels along the ground and top
After the keels along the ground and top are in place, they shall be fixed with nails. The middle distance of the nails shall be 900mm. The nails shall be located away from the laid concealed pipes.
4. Installation of vertical keel
Draw lines on the ground and top keels according to the determined vertical keel spacing. The vertical keel is arranged from the end of the wall according to the drawn line. When doors and windows are set on the partition wall, they shall be arranged from the door and window to one side or both sides. When the distance between the last keel and the wall edge is larger than the specified keel spacing, an additional keel must be added. The upper and lower ends of the keel shall be fixed with the keel along the top and ground with rivets or self tapping screws.
5. Fix door and window frames
The door and window frames shall be in place according to the design position and connected with the vertical keel, ground keel and roof keel. Wood door and window frames can be fixed with wood screws, and steel and aluminum alloy door and window frames can be fixed with self tapping screws.
6. Install gypsum board
Gypsum boards shall be installed vertically, and the gypsum boards on both sides of the keel shall be staggered. The gypsum board and keel can be fixed with self tapping screws. 25mm long self tapping screw for 12mm thick gypsum board; Two layers of 12mm thick gypsum board with 35mm long self tapping screws. The distance between the self tapping screw and the edge of the gypsum board shall be at least 10mm inside the board edge wrapped by paper and at least 15mm inside the cut board edge. The screw cap shall be embedded in the board, but the paper surface shall not be damaged. The middle distance of self tapping screws shall be 250mm around the board and 300mm in the middle of the board.
7. Joint treatment
In addition to the open joints, the horizontal and vertical joints of gypsum board partitions (including the joints between gypsum boards and between gypsum board and ceiling, side walls) must be caulked and joint strips must be pasted.
Concealed seam processing procedure:
(1) Joint putty: clean the floating soil in the joint, and use a small knife to embed the putty in the joint and level it with the plate joint.
(2) Scrape bottom putty: after the final setting of caulking putty, scrape about 1mm thick putty on the joint and stick glass fiber tape, and then press and scrape from top to bottom with a knife to make the excess putty extrude from the mesh of the tape.
(3) Puttying the middle layer: when the bottom layer putty is still wet due to solidification, use a large knife to puttying, bury the fiberglass tape in the putty layer, and fill and level the wedge-shaped edges of the gypsum board.
