Reply content: Hello, the change of the patentee's name or title needs to go through the formalities for the change of the bibliographic items. If there is an agency, the formalities for the change should be handled by the agency.
(1) The change shall be proposed using the "Application for Change of Bibliographic Items" uniformly prepared by the Patent Office. Please go to the website of the State Intellectual Property Office to download the form. The link to download the form is: https://www.cnipa.gov.cn/col/col192/index.html There are instructions and precautions on the back of the form. The documents can be submitted directly to the acceptance hall of our bureau, or mailed to the acceptance office of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, No. 6, Tucheng Road, West Jimen Bridge, Haidian District, Beijing. Post code: 100088.
(2) Pay the service charge for the change of bibliographic items as required. The fee for the change of bibliographic data shall be paid within one month from the date of making the request, unless otherwise specified; If it has not been paid or fully paid at the expiration of the time limit, it shall be deemed that it has not submitted a declaration for the change of the bibliographic items. The fee for change of applicant and patentee is 200 yuan.
(3) At the same time, the original of relevant supporting documents shall be submitted:
Where an enterprise as a legal person makes a request for change due to the change of its name, it shall submit the supporting documents issued by the administrative department for industry and commerce. (4) Where multiple items of a patent application are changed at the same time, only one application is required to be submitted; Where the same bibliographic item of several patent applications is changed, even if the content of the change is identical, the respective application for change of bibliographic item shall also be submitted.
