On the evening of December 8, the Bank of Shanghai issued the Announcement on the Change of Vice Chairman and President, which showed that the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Shi Hongmin as the Vice Chairman and President of the Bank.

Shi Hongmin previously served as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Director, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bank of Shanghai, and this new President is also the successor.

Shi Hongmin and current chairman Jin Yu both worked in CCB. Jin Yu once served as the Vice President of CCB Shanghai Branch, while Shi Hongmin served as the Vice President of CCB Shanghai Branch No. 1 Sub branch.

This time Shi Hongmin took the post of President, adding another member to the list of leaders from CCB of Bank of Shanghai. Since Fan Yifei became the chairman of Bank of Shanghai in 2011, the current chairman Jin Yu and the deceased former president Hu Youlian have all come from CCB. Going forward, Ning Liming and Fu Jianhua, who once served as the chairman of the Bank of Shanghai, came from CCB.

Coincidentally, Shi Hongmin, who is the president of the Bank of Shanghai this time, worked in the Planning and Finance Department of CCB with Fan Yifei and Hu Youlian.

After moving to Bank of Shanghai, Shi Hongmin has been the CFO of Bank of Shanghai since April 2013; From May 2016, he served as the Vice President of Bank of Shanghai. He has been promoted to president for more than 7 years.

Jin Yu once worked in CCB Shanghai Branch, and in 2003, he served as the Vice President of CCB Shanghai Branch. From 2008 to 2011, Jin Yu became the General Manager of the International Business Department of CCB Head Office and served as the President of CCB Singapore Branch.

In July 2011, Jin Yu joined Bank of Shanghai as president.

Fan Yifei, born in 1964, served as the assistant to the general manager and manager of the planning and finance department of the trust and investment company, the deputy director of the capital planning department of the head office, the general manager of the financial accounting department, and the general manager of the planning and finance department in CCB.

Fan Yifei was appointed as the Assistant President of CCB in February 2000 and the Vice President of CCB in June 2005. In March 2010, Fan Yifei was transferred to the post of Deputy General Manager of China Investment Co., Ltd. and served as the Chairman of Bank of Shanghai since November 2011.

In January 2015, Fan Yifei became a member of the Party Committee of the People's Bank of China, and in February of the same year, he became the deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, and became the youngest member of the leadership of the central bank at that time. According to the open resume, from April 1995 to March 2004, Hu Youlian held several positions in CCB, including the Deputy Director of the Finance Department of Jiangsu Branch, the Director of the Finance Department of the Finance Department, the Director of the Comprehensive Department and the Director of the Planning Department of the Planning and Finance Department, and the Secretary and President of the Party Committee of Zhongshan Branch.

In March 2004, Hu Youlian joined the Bank of Shanghai and served as the President of Pudong Branch of the Bank of Shanghai, the Assistant President and Vice President of the Bank of Shanghai. In January 2016, Hu You joined Jin Yu as President of Bank of Shanghai.

On August 31, 2020, the Bank of Shanghai issued a notice on the change of the president, stating that Hu Youlian, the vice chairman and president, resigned due to organizational transfer, and the resignation took effect on August 31, 2020.

The Notice of Shanghai Municipal People's Government on the Appointment of Hu Youlian disclosed on the website of Shanghai Municipal People's Government on September 16 of the same year shows that the Shanghai Municipal People's Government agreed Hu Youlian to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Shanghai International Group Co., Ltd., who was dismissed in July 2022.

According to media reports, after Fan Yifei's fall, Hu Youlian was asked to assist in the investigation, but died in the last month of 2022 at the age of 60.

Up to now, there has been no public disclosure of Hu Youlian's investigation or cause of death.

There was also a vice president of Bank of Shanghai, Huang Tao, also from China Construction Bank, who resigned in October 2021 and is now the general manager of National Endowment Insurance Co., Ltd.

In this regard, the Bank of Shanghai issued a clarification notice saying that this article was untrue and had reported the untrue statements to the public security organ at the first time. The bank's credit extension to Baoneng Group is a normal business activity, and all credit extension businesses to Baoneng Group are approved in the whole process according to the bank's approval authorization provisions. The relevant credit extension does not belong to the approval authority of the vice president, and there is no illegal lending behavior.
