Liu Jin, male, born in 1967, is a member of the Communist Party of China, a master of English language and literature major of Shandong University, a master of literature, and a senior economist.
He once served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President (at the level of Deputy Minister) of the Bank of China.[1-2][6][9-10]
He graduated from Shandong University with a master's degree in literature in 1993.He has the title of senior economist.[5]
He has worked in ICBC for many years, and successively served as the Vice President of ICBC Shandong Branch, the Vice Chairman, Executive Director and General Manager of ICBC Europe, and the General Manager of ICBC Frankfurt Branch, the General Manager of the Investment Banking Department of ICBC Head Office, and the President of Jiangsu Branch.
From September 2018 to November 2019, he served as the Vice President of China Development Bank.
From December 2019 to March 2021, he served as the executive director of China Everbright Group Co., Ltd.
From January 2020 to March 2021, President of China Everbright Bank.
From March 2020 to March 2021, he served as the executive director of China Everbright Bank.
From February 2021 to April 2021, he served as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bank of China.[8]

From June 2021 to August 2024, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President of the Bank of China (in August 2021, he also served as Vice Chairman of BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Co., Ltd., and in April 2023, he also served as Chairman of BOC Aviation Leasing Co., Ltd.).[1][4][6][10]

On August 25, 2024, Bank of China announced that the Board of Directors of the Company had received Mr. Liu Jin's resignation.Mr. Liu Jin resigned as the Vice Chairman, Executive Director, member of the Strategic Development Committee of the Board of Directors and President of the Bank for personal reasons.[10]
