Wuhan University: Announcement on Application for the 2024 Master's Examination

According to the spirit of the Ministry of Education's Administrative Regulations on the Enrollment of National Postgraduates in 2024 (Teaching Letter [2023] No. 2) and the relevant requirements of Hubei Provincial Education Examination Institute, we hereby announce the following matters related to the application for the 2024 postgraduate examination:

1、 General requirements

In 2024, the application for master's degree examination can be divided into two stages: online application and online confirmation. All candidates (except those recommended to be exempted from the examination) must register online and confirm online at the specified time, otherwise the registration information will be invalid.

2、 Application site and source of students

(1) The range of students from Wuhan University application sites (application site code 4201)

1. Candidates applying for Wuhan University in Wuhan must meet one of the following conditions:

(1) Fresh undergraduate graduates (including regular colleges and universities, adult colleges and universities, adult higher education held by regular colleges and universities and other fresh undergraduate graduates, the same below. The location of colleges and universities is limited to Wuhan);

(2) Candidates for the second bachelor's degree (only in Wuhan);

(3) Previous examinees, self-taught examinees and online education can graduate undergraduate students at that time (the domicile location is limited to Wuhan City), who must provide their own household register;

(4) When choosing a non registered residence registration point (including the registration of a provincial residence in this province and the registration of a provincial residence in another city or state, hereinafter referred to as "non local registration") for registration, the online confirmation must provide the valid residence permit handled by the local (Wuhan City) public security department of the registration point, or the social security payment voucher paid by the work unit in the local (Wuhan City) of the registration point for the past three months.

2. Candidates from enrollment units in other places (including other cities, prefectures and other provinces in the province) and from enrollment units that do not have enrollment sites in Wuhan after graduation.

3. Candidates from all over the country who apply for the independent examination and the strong military plan of Wuhan University must choose the Wuhan University application site to apply for the examination.

According to the relevant regulations of Hubei Provincial Education Examination Institute, our university will not confirm online any student who does not belong to the source of students in Wuhan University or cannot provide valid certification materials within the specified time, and the relevant responsibilities will be borne by the candidates themselves.

Please refer to the enrollment brochure of the single examination for details of the major of our independent examination enrollment. When applying online, please be sure to indicate the name of the class applying for the single examination in the "Personal Information - Standby Information 1" (if you have any questions, please contact the college or department applying for the examination directly. For the contact information, please refer to the major catalog of postgraduate enrollment of our university).

(2) Non local candidates applying for Wuhan University (not included in the above scope)

1. Candidates from other provinces in Wuhan:

Hubei Normal University, Hubei University of Arts and Sciences, Xiangyang Education Examination Institute, Changjiang University, Jingzhou Education Examination Institute, Three Gorges University, Yichang Education Enrollment and Examination Office, Huanggang Normal University, Huanggang Education Enrollment and Examination Institute, Ezhou Education Enrollment and Examination Center, Shiyan Enrollment and Examination Institute, Hubei Medical College, Hubei Institute of Automotive Industry Xiaogan Education Examination Institute, Jingmen Admission and Examination Bureau, Hubei University of Science and Technology, Xianning Education Admission and Examination Institute, Suizhou Education Examination Center, Hubei University for Nationalities, Enshi Education Examination Institute, Xiantao Education Admission

The examination institute has 22 registration points.

2. Candidates from outside Hubei Province:

Select the application site according to the requirements of the provincial enrollment and examination administration.

3、 Registration workflow and relevant requirements

(1) Online registration

1. Online reporting time: 9:00-22:00 every day, October 8-25, 2023. The online forecast name is from September 24 to 27, 2023, from 9:00 to 22:00 every day.

All candidates can choose to register within the forecast name time or online reporting time. The registration of candidates who have participated in the pre registration is valid, and there is no need to repeat the online reporting.

During the registration period, the examinee can modify the online report information (except for the examination method, application unit and application site). The registration information shall not be modified after the deadline.

2. Operation process: candidates log on to "China Postgraduate Enrollment Information Network" (website: https://yz.chsi.com.cn, hereinafter referred to as "Research Enrollment Network") to browse the application instructions, and register according to the online announcement requirements of provincial education, enrollment and examination institutions, application sites, and application and enrollment units.

3. Precautions

(1) Before applying, candidates should carefully understand and strictly follow the application conditions and relevant policy requirements to choose the application form. If the applicant fails to meet the application conditions and relevant policy requirements, resulting in subsequent failure of online confirmation, examination (including preliminary examination and reexamination) or admission, the consequences shall be borne by the candidate.

Candidates should fill in their online registration information accurately and truthfully as required and provide authentic materials. The examinee shall bear the consequences of failing to take the exam (including the preliminary exam and the second exam) or enrolling due to failure to register as required, incorrect filling of online information, false filling of information or providing inaccurate materials.

(2) Each account can only retain one valid registration information. Candidates can modify their registration information by themselves during online registration (except for the examination method, registration unit and registration site). If an item in the registration information that is not allowed to be modified is filled in incorrectly, candidates do not need to register again. Instead, they should cancel the wrong registration information before the online registration deadline (22:00 on October 25), and then add a new registration information with the current account number. Each candidate can only keep one valid registration information. The registration information shall not be modified after the deadline.

(3) The selection of the registration point should be in line with the scope of the applicants. If you select a registration point that does not belong to the acceptance range, the registration point will not be confirmed.

(4) Special reminder of "fill in important information":

① Chinese characters not in the font appear in the name, please use Chinese Pinyin instead.

② If the examinee has changed his/her name or ID card number, he/she must fill in the changed information in the name and ID card number column.

③ The correspondence address must be accurate and detailed, and the contact number must be kept unblocked during the registration and admission period. If the recruitment information cannot be obtained in time and the admission notice cannot be delivered due to personal reasons, the consequences shall be borne by the applicant.

④ Note the meaning of "examinee source". The "Candidate Source" of self-taught candidates and online education candidates must be "Other".

(5) Select the correct check code. Examinees such as the "High level Talents and Strong Military Plan" and "Ethnic Minority High level Backbone Talents Plan" need a check code when registering online. Without a check code, they cannot choose this type of examination method.

(6) Candidates who apply for the "Master's Graduate Enrollment Plan for Retired College Student Soldiers" should be college students who have enlisted and retired from active service, and who meet the conditions for applying for the master's degree ("college students" refers to full-time undergraduate and junior college students (including higher vocational colleges), graduate students, second bachelor's degree graduates, current students, and new students, As well as regular college (higher vocational) graduates, current students and new students enrolled by adult colleges. Candidates who choose this special plan must fill in their enrollment, enlistment, retirement and other relevant information.

(7) The format of "archives unit" and "learning and working unit" is "XX College of Wuhan University".

(8) After the completion of online reporting, the Provincial Education Examination Institute will compare the information of candidates registered in different places in combination with the public security household registration system. Those who provide false household registration books, residence cards, and social security payment vouchers, which do not meet the acceptance range of candidates at the registration point, will not pass the online confirmation.

(9) After registration, please pay attention to the official account "Research Recruitment Network" of Research Recruitment Network WeChat in time to receive information related to the research examination.

(2) Online confirmation

1. The specific method and time of online confirmation shall be determined and announced by each provincial education recruitment and examination institution according to the local application situation.

Please pay attention to the announcement issued by the provincial education recruitment and examination institutions in a timely manner, check and confirm your online registration information as required within the specified time, and do not apply again after the deadline.

2. Online confirmation will continue to be carried out in the application sites of Wuhan University for master's degree in 2024. That is, candidates whose registration number starts with 4201 will be confirmed online (including confirmation of registration information and uploading photos and other materials). During the online confirmation period, neither supplementary registration nor modification of registration information is allowed.

The online confirmation of Wuhan University application site is expected to be from October 30 to November 5 (the exact time is subject to the online confirmation announcement). Candidates must log in the online confirmation system of the Research Recruitment Network to complete online confirmation. This registration is invalid if they fail to complete online confirmation on time. If there is any doubt about a small number of educational background or identity information, the registration point shall inform them to go to the site for confirmation. Online confirmation requirements are as follows:

(1) Confirm the data to be uploaded online

① Candidates need to upload their front, bareheaded, makeup free, color electronic ID photos, their resident ID cards (front and back), and their front photos in the past three months.

② Candidates who fail to pass the verification of student status and academic qualifications displayed during online registration must upload relevant certification materials according to the actual situation, as follows:

A. New graduates must upload the Online Verification Report of Student Status of the Ministry of Education. Candidates who change their name or ID card number during the undergraduate period must also upload the ID information change certificate issued by the public security department or the personal page of the account book containing the former name.

B. The self-taught examination can graduate undergraduates at that time, and the certificate of self-taught examination results issued by the provincial educational examination institution where the examinee is located shall be provided.

C. The network education recognized by the state can graduate undergraduates at that time, and the certificate issued by the university where they are studying can be provided.

D. Previous graduates must upload the Electronic Registration and Record Form of Academic Certificates of the Ministry of Education (graduates after 2001) or the Certification Report of Academic Degrees of Higher Education in China (graduates before 2001) or the Certification Certificate of Foreign Academic Degrees issued by the Overseas Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education. Candidates who change their name or ID card number after graduation must also upload the ID information change certificate issued by the public security department or the personal page of the account book containing the former name.

③ When applying for the second bachelor's degree at the place where the school is located, the student must also upload the student card of the second bachelor's degree school or the certificate of enrollment issued by the school.

④ Previous graduates, self-taught examination and online education graduates who can register at the residence place at that time must upload their own home page and individual page (collective accounts only provide individual single page); Previous graduates applying for the examination in other places must upload the original valid residence permit handled by the local public security department of the application site (including the electronic certificate and card certificate of the valid residence permit handled, excluding the certificate or electronic record of applying for the residence permit), Or the social insurance payment voucher paid by the local work unit of the application site for the past three months (candidates can log on to the Hubei Provincial Government Affairs Service Network or use the Ehui Office APP to query and print the individual social insurance participation certificate), and they should not leave their jobs or stop paying social insurance when confirming online.

⑤ Candidates who apply for the "Master's Enrollment Plan for Retired College Student Soldiers" must upload the pictures on the inside pages of their "Approval for enlistment" and "Exit from active service card".

⑥ Postgraduates who are studying for the postgraduate examination must upload the certificate of approval of their training unit.

(2) Candidates should carefully read the letter of commitment of integrity in the online confirmation system. Candidates who have confirmed their success online through the Research and Recruitment Network system are deemed to have signed a letter of commitment.

(3) Candidates can only keep a valid online registration information. Candidates must carefully check their online information and submit relevant materials to complete online confirmation within the specified time. According to the document of the Ministry of Education, all candidates should carefully check and confirm their online registration information. The registration information cannot be modified after being confirmed by the examinee.

(4) According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, those who cheated in the master's examination in previous years and were suspended are not allowed to apply for the examination this year. The application and online confirmation of candidates who violate this provision are invalid.

(5) Before online confirmation, candidates should take good care of their resident ID cards. They can prepare photos of the front and back of their ID cards that meet the standard requirements and recent photos of holding the front of their ID cards in advance; If the ID card is lost during online confirmation without the above photos, a temporary ID card can be handled. When online confirmation is made, the photos of the front and back of the temporary ID card and the photos of the front of the temporary ID card in hand can be uploaded; If the relevant materials have not been uploaded before the end of online confirmation, the application is invalid because it cannot be confirmed online.

(6) Precautions for online confirmation

① According to the registration schedule, adjust your study and work arrangements, and select the correct registration site on time to complete the online confirmation of registration information. Candidates should consider the time required for qualification review and modification of uploaded materials when the review may fail during online confirmation, and reasonably arrange the time for uploading online confirmation materials. Online registration is invalid if online registration and payment are only conducted but online confirmation of registration information is not completed.

② You must upload your true and valid photos, certificates, certificates, vouchers and other photo materials as required. You are not allowed to upload false, irrelevant or other pictures that do not meet the requirements. Otherwise, the staff of the registration point will review their online confirmation and fail, and their registration information will be invalid.

③ All examinees must confirm online with their resident identity cards. Those who have not yet applied for or lost their resident identity cards should go to the local police station where their residence is registered as soon as possible. During the examination, you must show your valid resident ID card to enter the site. Those without valid resident ID card cannot enter the site for the examination.

④ Candidates who choose to register in a place other than their registered permanent residence must provide a residence permit issued by the local public security department or a certificate of social security payment for the past three months paid by their work unit in the place of work. Some cities and prefectures have launched online printing of social security payment vouchers, which can be verified. For details, please call 12333.

⑤ During the online confirmation period, due to the examinee's own reasons, such as inaccurate online reporting information, fraud, and the information provided does not meet the requirements, the online confirmation of the registration site will not be passed; After the online confirmation and approval, if the enrollment unit does not meet the requirements of the application conditions, it can still refuse to apply for the examination.

⑥ The registration information confirmed by the examinee shall not be modified during the examination (including the preliminary examination and re examination) and admission stages.

⑦ After the examinee logs on to the research recruitment website and transmits the online confirmation materials, he/she should pay attention to the review of his/her online confirmation materials in a timely manner during the online confirmation period. Once the review is not passed, he/she should timely supplement and upload the qualified materials within the specified time. This registration is invalid if he/she fails to complete the online confirmation on time.

⑧ After successful online registration, candidates should actively learn about examination arrangements, epidemic prevention requirements and other matters through regular access to the provincial education examination institute, application sites, the official website of the enrollment unit and the research and recruitment network, and actively cooperate to complete relevant work.

⑨ If a disabled candidate needs to organize an examination unit to provide reasonable examination convenience services during the examination, he/she should communicate with the application site, the Provincial Education Examination Institute and the enrollment unit at the registration stage to make arrangements in advance.

(3) Examination qualification review

Candidates should carefully check whether they meet the application requirements of Wuhan University's 2024 Postgraduate Enrollment Regulations before applying, and the qualification review will be conducted at the registration and re examination stages. For those who do not meet the requirements for applying for the examination and those who practice fraud, once verified at any time, the examination, reexamination or admission, admission qualification or student status will be cancelled according to relevant regulations.

During the registration period, online verification will be carried out on the examinee's education (student status) information. Candidates can view the verification results of academic qualifications (student status) online. Candidates can also log on to the China Higher Education Student Information Network to query their academic qualifications (student status) before or during registration. Those who fail to pass the verification of academic credentials (student status) shall go to the authoritative certification authority in time to carry out the certification of student status and academic credentials, and submit the certification report to the examination site for verification when confirming online. Those who fail to submit the certification report when confirming online will not be confirmed online.

If there is any doubt about the examinee's educational background (student status) information, the certification issued by the authority must be provided before downloading the examination permit, otherwise the examination will not be allowed. Any candidate who does not meet the provisions and requirements of Wuhan University 2024 Postgraduate Enrollment Regulations will not be allowed to take the exam.

4、 Precautions

1. Those who have been accepted by our school as exempt candidates shall not apply for admission to the postgraduate examination of that year, otherwise their eligibility for exemption will be cancelled.

2. Check the registration information carefully. The registration information is also used as admission information, especially important personal information such as name and ID card number, which cannot be filled in incorrectly, otherwise it will affect the examination and admission.

3. The entrance examination for postgraduate students in 2024 will be conducted by swiping the resident ID card. Candidates without valid resident ID cards will not be allowed to enter the examination.

Wuhan University will conduct the examination in a standardized examination room. Candidates need to bring their own stationery (the subjective questions of all subjects in the national unified examination must be answered with a 0.5mm black signature pen, the answer card of the objective questions must be filled with a 2B pencil, and other stationery such as a ruler, rubber, etc. must be determined by themselves). The examination room is equipped with a silent wall clock, and candidates are not allowed to carry timekeeping tools such as watches.

5、 Others

About ten days before the test, candidates can log in to the "Research Recruitment Network" with their online username and password to download and print the Examination Admission Certificate, which must be printed on white A4 paper. The Examination Admission Certificate shall be properly kept until the admission stage of the reexamination, and both sides shall not be altered or written during the use.
