The Communist Party of China insists on taking the people as the center and attaches great importance to safeguarding the rights and interests of ordinary workers. Promoting social fairness and justice is an inherent requirement for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In 1921, at the beginning of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee established the Secretariat of the Chinese Labor Union in Shanghai, as the general organ of our Party to openly lead the labor movement, leading the labor movement and safeguarding the rights and interests of workers. Over the past hundred years, our party has never forgotten its original mission and firmly pursued the belief of fairness and justice. It can be said that the struggle of the Communist Party of China over the past hundred years is a process of unremitting pursuit, realization and maintenance of social fairness and justice.

Common prosperity is the goal of labor spirit. Achieving common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism. Recently, the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Supporting Zhejiang's High quality Development and Building a Demonstration Area of Common Prosperity was released. This is a major decision made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core to put the promotion of common prosperity of all people in a more important position, which fully reflects the firm determination of the Party Central Committee to solve the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development in China.
