On the 19th, it was learned from the Qinghai Tibet Scientific Research Service Center that recently, Academician Xu Xiangde, who was in charge of the second Qinghai Tibet scientific research mission "Westerly monsoon synergy and its impact", led the scientific research team of the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences to use the unmanned mobile meteorological monitoring data acquisition platform (hereinafter referred to as the unmanned mobile meteorological data acquisition platform) for the first time in the three river source regions of China, The purpose of monitoring the dynamic weather of the three-dimensional vertical structure of the atmosphere is to solve the problems such as insufficient meteorological observation stations and the discontinuity of atmospheric data in time and space.


It is reported that the driverless mobile meteorological data acquisition platform uses the driverless vehicle as the driving domain and the mobile atmospheric vertical detection system as the business domain to form a dynamic meteorological monitoring system for the vertical structure of the atmosphere, which can achieve continuous observation in the harsh conditions of the plateau. Based on the practical experience of field observation in the scientific research of Sanjiangyuan, this data acquisition platform is equipped with an advanced ground-based multi-channel microwave radiometer, which has realized the continuous detection of water vapor and oxygen microwave radiation, and can automatically retrieve the important meteorological parameters such as the atmospheric temperature, humidity, cloud water distribution and water vapor, liquid water content in the head space in real time. Combined with other observation equipment, the platform can also comprehensively monitor the temperature, humidity, pressure, precipitation and other meteorological elements at the work site, providing valuable first-hand data for scientific researchers.


Xu Xiangde said that the atmospheric driverless vehicle mounted vertical detection platform and its optimized dynamic detection layout were a successful attempt, which could not only solve the whole process vertical monitoring problems in the plateau no man's land, desert areas and remote urban areas, but also be especially used to solve the problem of obtaining strong signals from the atmospheric vertical structure during the peak period of convective activity. The platform will become an important supplement to the atmospheric vertical structure operational detection system, and is expected to play an important role in the atmospheric three-dimensional information detection in other regions.
