VI V-HUB Road Environment and Vehicle Data Acquisition System Specifications:
1. GPS: It adopts a powerful new GPS engine, which can update all GPS parameters including speed, angle and position at an update rate of 20-100Hz. The speed and angle are calculated by Doppler conversion of GPS carrier signals to provide high accuracy.
2. Analog quantity output: 2 x 16 bit analog quantity output can be configured by the user with output speed or other GPS parameters. The user can use other data acquisition equipment with output voltage range of 0 to 5V DC and resolution of 76 μ V per unit.
3. Digital output: There are two types of digital output, one frequency/pulse output corresponds to speed, and the second output displays the current data acquisition status. The speed pulse output is user-defined, and the number of pulses per meter can be changed to emulate most other types of speed sensors.
4. Digital input: two digital inputs, diyi one is used for brake trigger or event measurement and connected to a 16 bit event timer, which can make the calibration accuracy of brake trigger time reach 12 μ s. The second digital input is used for remote speed acquisition control controlled by hand-held switch.
5. CAN bus: two separate CAN bus interfaces, which can receive data from external modules, such as temperature module or frequency module, and transmit GPS CAN data to another bus. It is also possible to record 8 CAN signals from another CAN bus source (e.g. on-board CAN bus). When data needs to be recorded from another bus, data can be downloaded from the industrial standard CAN database file (. DBC).
6. RS232 serial interface: RS232 interface is used to configure and output GPS real-time data. It must be noted that if the system stores data to the CF card at a speed higher than 20Hz, the bandwidth of the computer serial port can only reach 20Hz, so the serial data to be transmitted to the software in real time is limited. In order to obtain good accuracy, all tests above 20Hz must analyze the data in the CF card in the offline mode.
7. CF card: accept the type 1 CF card for recording data, and the data is stored in standard PC format, allowing fast data transmission through the card reader. The file format is ASCII text format, which can be directly loaded into VBOX.EXE software or imported into Excel and other third-party software.
