On March 10, 2024, Wang Moumou, a junior one student in Feixiang District, Handan City, Hebei Province, was killed. On March 11, all three juvenile suspects involved in the case, Zhang, Li and Ma, were arrested by the public security organ. The procuratorial organ attaches great importance to and intervenes in the investigation activities of the public security organ in advance according to law. On March 21, the Public Security Bureau of Feixiang District, Handan City submitted to the procuratorial organ for approval and prosecution of Zhang, Li and Ma who were suspected of intentional homicide.

After examination, the procuratorial organ believed that Zhang, Li and Ma, who were under the age of 12 but under the age of 14 at the time of committing the crime, intentionally killed the victim Wang, and the circumstances were serious, so they should be investigated for criminal responsibility. According to the provision of the third paragraph of Article 17 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, the procuratorial organ of Hebei Province reported to the Supreme People's Procuratorate level by level to approve the prosecution of Mr. Zhang, Mr. Li and Mr. Ma.

Recently, the Supreme People's Procuratorate reviewed and decided to approve the prosecution of suspects Zhang, Li and Ma according to law.
