What is telecom fraud?  

　　 Telecommunication fraud refers to the criminal act of fabricating false information, setting up a fraud scheme, carrying out remote and non-contact fraud against the victim, and inducing the victim to make a payment or transfer by means of telephone, network and short message. The purpose of deception is usually achieved by impersonating others and counterfeiting and forging various legal covers and forms, such as impersonating the public security law, businesses, companies, manufacturers State organ staff, bank staff and other staff of various institutions forged and pretended to recruit workers, swiped bills, loans, mobile phone positioning and solicited prostitutes to defraud. Since the new millennium in 2000, with the development of science and technology, a series of technical tools have been developed and used. Many technicians and some civilians have implemented non-contact fraud with the help of mobile phones, landlines, networks and other communication tools and modern technologies. It can be said that non-contact fraud has rapidly developed and spread, causing great losses to the people.  

　　 On May 11, 2022, the Ministry of Public Security announced five types of high speed telecommunications network fraud cases, namely, scalping rebate, false investment and financing, false network loans, fake customer service, and fake public security law.

　　 High incidence type telecommunication network fraud
