　　 On December 13, 2019, Hong Jia (not his real name) burned weeds in his own vegetable garden, and Hong Yi (not his real name) dirtied his mother's washed and dried sheets due to the ash generated by Hong Jia's burning of grass, which caused a quarrel and pulling. Hong Jia pricked Hong Yi's left forearm with an iron rake. After identification, Hong Yi's injury was rated as Grade I minor injury.  

　　 In September 2020, the People's Procuratorate of Jing County, after examination, found that the facts of the case were unclear and the evidence was insufficient, and it was impossible to find out whether Hong Yi had hit Hong Jia's body with a spade first. It could not rule out that there was reasonable doubt about justifiable defense in the case, and made a decision not to prosecute Hong Jia. Hong Yi, the complainant, refused to accept this and complained to the People's Procuratorate of Xuancheng City for many times.  

　　 On April 7, 2021, the Xuancheng People's Procuratorate, while making a decision not to prosecute, based on careful examination of the facts and evidence of the case and field investigation, respectively interpreted the law, reasoned, and excused the two parties. After many efforts, the two parties finally signed a mediation agreement after many unsuccessful previous mediation.
