In addition, maintain a high pressure on public related crimes, and prosecute 4041 people for telecommunications network fraud, illegal fund-raising and other crimes in accordance with the law; 6451 people have been prosecuted for crimes against market economic order, such as illegal operation, forced engineering, and bullying.
1230 people were prosecuted for crimes against food and drug safety
In the past year, the procuratorial organs of Anhui Province filed 3380 public interest litigation cases that damaged the rights and interests of farmers, rural areas and farmers; 1530 people were prosecuted for intellectual property infringement crimes, and 50 public interest litigation cases involving intellectual property were handled; 2196 people were prosecuted for crimes against environment and resources, and 4797 public interest litigation cases were filed for ecological environment protection. Actively participated in the fight against corruption. The provincial procuratorial organs accepted 887 cases of job-related crimes in the past year, intervened in 442 cases in advance, prosecuted 635 people, and prosecuted 101 bribery crimes.
In 2023, the procuratorial organ of Anhui Province resolutely guarded the safety on the tip of the tongue, prosecuted 1230 people for crimes against food and drug safety, and handled 1984 public interest litigation cases; More efforts were made to crack down on chaos in related industries, 335 people were prosecuted for crimes such as leaking and selling personal information, hotel camera attacks, and online violence, and 2413 pieces of social governance procuratorial recommendations were issued; Actively participated in the investigation of work safety accidents and the verification of concealment of work safety accidents, prosecuted 117 people for crimes against work safety according to law, and handled 1013 public interest litigation cases.
It is worth mentioning that in the past year, the procuratorial organ of Anhui Province prosecuted 120 people for crimes of refusing to pay labor remuneration, supported 4344 cases of migrant workers' wage claims, and helped migrant workers claim more than 54 million yuan. More than 38 million yuan of judicial aid was paid to the parties who were in difficulty.
2842 persons were prosecuted for crimes against minors
Sheng Dayou revealed that in 2023, the procuratorial organ of Anhui Province will continue to strengthen the protection of the rights and interests of special groups.
On the one hand, we should protect the healthy growth of minors in accordance with the law, strengthen the comprehensive performance of minors' procuratorial work, promote the integration of the "six major protections", urge the implementation of the employment prohibition, employment inquiry and compulsory reporting system in industries involving minors, and prosecute 2842 people who committed crimes against minors; 1360 persons were not prosecuted for juvenile delinquency with conditions according to law; 80 suggestions on prohibition and sentencing of employment were put forward, and 136287 people were urged to carry out on-the-job inquiries.
At the same time, we deepened the special supervision of guarding "half the sky" and "sunset red", carried out the "wind warming in Anhui" activity, prosecuted 2474 crimes against the elderly and 23 domestic violence crimes. In addition, we effectively strengthened the protection of the rights and interests of servicemen and military families, strengthened military related rights protection, prosecuted 10 people for crimes such as sabotaging military marriages, and carried out military related judicial relief for 53 people.
