   This issue is about The True Case Handled by the Procuratorate of Lieshan District, Huaibei City, Anhui Province -- The Late Judgment  

   Introduction to the Late Judgment  

   The suspect Zhao Ming (not his real name) drives a heavy truck without a license to engage in the transportation industry. He accidentally scrapes another person and falls to death when backing up. He is afraid that he is driving without a license and cannot be compensated by the insurance. He also has to go to prison to serve his sentence. In order to avoid legal investigation, he calls his son-in-law Zhang Liang (not his real name) to come to impersonate him. Zhang Liang was raised by Zhao Ming as a child to repay his kindness, Arrived at the scene before the traffic police arrived, and lied that he was the owner of the accident. That night, Zhao Ming invited witnesses on the scene to cover up the truth and agreed that Zhang Liang would be charged instead. On March 17, 2017, Zhang Liang was sentenced to 10 months' imprisonment and one year's probation for the crime of causing traffic accidents. On November 28, 2017, Zhang Liang was prosecuted for being suspected of harboring a crime, which was reported by others.  

   Case handling highlights: No amount of gratitude can be repaid in the way of illegal crime due to the collision between reason and jurisprudence; Judgment can be late, justice is never absent; Judicial case handling must be "based on facts and based on laws".
